I had the Sonoran, which was excellent. Definitely not your average hot dog. A different option from your ordinary bar food, and still an easy walk from the heart of 6th street. Good beer choices, and service was quick.

Well, bar food can be good, sometimes. But when you've had enough junk food and want to walk the streets of Austin and enjoy GOOD food and drinks, this is a great place! All the dogs and sausages are home-made, the poutin is excellent, and they have great cocktails as well. We really enjoyed delicious quality food and drinks here.

Red Headed Stranger - Bloody Mary with bacon, cheese, Frank's special salt - heaven in a glass. The Texas Benedict - Cheddar biscuits, pulled pork, jalapeno hollandaise - enough for 2, but you might want to keep it all for yourself!

I had a special "Texas Chainsaw" wife had Jackalope chili cheese. Mine was spicy but I knew that from the description. Food was good and as the title says interesting but a bit pricy. two dogs and shared cheese fries was more than enough food for 2. Atmosphere was different and the place was packed at 4 in the afternoon.... More

We arrived at 9pm on a Friday. Two of the menu items I tried to order were not available (not sure if they sold out or closed part of the kitchen). Dogs were great and at a good price. The cream soda is crazy good - must try!

My 4 & 6 yr old granddaughters loved the hot dogs, I really enjoyed the Frank House salad (the grit croutons were delish). The beer selection was awesome.

Really tasty hotdogs, and excellent choice of sauces and toppings. Try the corn cup, really delicious and nice that veggies are well catered for. Also had some good drinks in this place - Austin ciders

They have amazing sounding cocktails and dogs like the Jackalope made with antelope, rabbit, and pork sausage, cranberry compote, sriracha aioli, cheddar and the Notorious P.I.G. (which I tried) made with pork, bacon, jalapeno, sage sausage topped with mac n’ cheese, Dr. Doppelgänger BBQ sauce. My friend ordered one of their specialty cocktails, but received the wrong drink. When she... More

We went here after the Pecan Street Festival because it was too busy before. The brunch menu was still open and I had the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was a little over cooked but the cheese grits with red eye gravy more than made up for it. My girlfriend got the pork belly breakfast tacos and was very pleased... More

This place surprised me with Hotdogs the size of my head. Not only are the portions large but you can get just about anything you can think of on it. Basically you order a bun as a base full of ingredients topped with a hotdog :) ... No other dog place even comes close.
