Frankly my dear a great dog!

This place is so good. The drinks, the sausage, the waffle fries anyway you want and the milk shakes! OMG!! Not too mention the waitress was so nice and very good. We simply fell upon this place and got there in time, there was a line of people waiting after we got there up to when we left... read more

My husband has been wanting to go here for awhile, the reviews are always great. The food was such a disappointment. We ordered the triple sausage plate, poutine, mac & cheese, and beer. We both agreed the poutine from a national grocery chain offers a better product frozen. There was a flavorless brown sauce atop cold, soft waffle fries. Not... More

We had a good time at this place. The food portions are huge and they are not expensive. We saw a pancake that overlapped the plate. I highly recommend this place on 4th and Colorado streets.

I probably had the best chicago style hot dog outside of Chicago at this place. Be aware the portions are enormous so don't order too much. It's also very vegan/vegetarian friendly: you can make all the dogs vegan (including vegan chili). The beer selection is great with a lot of local breweries represented on the menue. Make sure to ask... More

Neat place and unique, got more than regular hotdogs - Got a chili dog, it was good, my daughter got a Southern Hotdog with Pimento Cheese wrapped in a pancake type bun. Definitely a must do when in Austin.

The food was ok but the service was bad, the server acted as though we were an inconvenience, and as if the tap water refill we requested was coming out of his own pay packet. He made no effort to engage with us as customers and we left as soon as we'd finished our meal because he created a crappy... More

This is an only hot dog restaurant, with the necessary sides only. No other foods on the menu. With that said I thought it was very good and different. I have to admit some of the items on the menu are scary, like chocolate covered bacon... they love bacon there btw. But everything we had was really good, somehow those... More

Because it's not humanly possible to make a pretzel like that. It's not. I've had pretzels all over the world. Heck I grew up getting them from vendors off the streets in NYC. I love pretzels. Even more... I KNOW pretzels. You guys have effectively ruined pretzels for me. I don't live in Austin. What am I supposed to do?... More

The last time I went they were holding a benefit for a non-profit. They invited comedians to come in and entertain. Comedy notwithstanding, I always enjoy coming to Frank. The hot dogs are good, the fries are great and the beer selection is more than adequate. The atmosphere is friendly and the bill won't break the bank.
