Good place for ice cream

When I lived on this side of town, it was nice to visit the Amy’s location in the area. But then it closed, as a prelude to having the Austinville location opened. Unfortunately it took longer than originally planned, and by the time it was done, I was living in a different section of the city... read more

But it's half melted by the time they mix in your toppings. Very creative array of flavors, including a couple beer flavors. They flavors are great and it's quality ice cream. I just like mine frozen.

Took the kiddos here to have their first Amy's ice cream experience and to although they liked the taste of the ice cream, they were disappointed their topping choice was not ones tat could be mixed into the Tiny size. We really couldn't figure out why because they were even getting a cup vs a cone?

Seems like a very popular spot on South Congress. A variety of flavors and some non traditional offerings on the menu. We ordered a cinnamon/honey and coffee flavored ice cream. Both were delicious.

I had one of the popular "combos"-the turtle. It was good and the large costs $6. It was busy but service was quick. The only issue I saw was that one customer had to wait about 5 minutes to pay-not because it was busy at the register but that the person who made their items forgot to check them out.... More

Good for dessert or ice cream for dinner! The walk from JW Marriott seemed long but maybe we just anticipated the ice cream so much. The concept is similar to cold stone creamery where they add ingredients to the ice cream on a cold stone right in front of you. We opted for chocolate malt and cookie dough with Mexican... More

I generally don't like ice cream, I don't care for it much, but Amy's for some reason, is different. Must be the different concoctions you can create with Oreo's, maybe a gummy bear that pops up here or there, and the sprinkles, let's dare not forget the sprinkles. Perhaps it's the atmosphere, conveniently located right next to Phil's Ice House,... More

I have been to Austin endless times and each time I must have this. When I used to live in Austin Amy's made me gain some pounds since I couldn't stop eating this delicious ice cream. I don't regret it, you live once. Lol.

Went to this place while I waited for my burgers from Phil's Ice house. The employees were very enthusiastic, which made the wait more tolerable. The ice bream was delicious and the price was reasonable. Would definitely come back!
