Best Ice Cream Ever

Everytime I go to Austin, the first thing I need to do is go to Amy's. It's literally the best ice cream I've ever had. There are soooo many flavours to choose from and they're constantly changing it up. It's great when I go there with my little cousins and they choose their toppings. The place is... read more

I visited three different Amy's Ice Cream locations during my trip to Austin. They're all fun and funky, with the same prices and basic flavors. However, alternate flavors changed daily and varied by location so there wasn't always something I wanted to try.

I'm a sucker for ice cream. So, it's hard for me to say that I loved Amy's more than blue bell or tillamuck. It's delicious though.

Being from the midwest, I'm accustomed to eating frozen custard which is exceptionally creamy. Well, I've found something equally as good. Amy's home made ice cream! There are certainly a variety of flavors, but I'm a chocoholic! So that's what I had. It was exceptional. During certain times of the day you can expect to wait in line, but it... More

Always make a stop here when in Austin. Friendly staff. Shared building w/burger place. Playground for kids. Paved parking. Prices are reasonable. Busy place. Love the Mexican vanilla!

Amy's is the best ice cream in Austin. Some flavors even contain alcohol. There's a great playground for children and Phil's sells some of the best hamburgers and sweet potato fries in town. Allandale neighbors strongly support Amy's and Phil's

I was expecting bursting flavors. I was sadly disappointed. I had vanilla. You expect to taste some vanilla, I did not. My family had peppermint, it was a very dull flavor. Prices are high for what you get.

I love all the flavored I have tried. Employees are super cool and friendly. Great place! Must do in Austin. There is a daily quiz to get free mix in, and kids love the playground. Don't want ice cream? Get a beer from Phil's next door. But the ice cream is delicious.

I was told I had to check out Amy's while I was in Austin, and that I HAD to get the Mexican Vanilla. Despite not being a vanilla fan (I am much more likely to opt for something exotic), I took everyone's advice. I went for Mexican Vanilla with cookie dough, fudge, and sea salt. Holy amazingness. It was just... More
