We had been bar hopping and decided to stop in. What we didn't realize we had made one of the best decisions for the night. We ordered a round of drinks and an app. Our waitress Shelly was knowledgable, helpful and a pleasure to visit with. She helped us navigate the drink menu better then anyone at any bar I've... More

We stopped in for pre-dinner cocktails but couldn't resist the happy hour appetizer menu. For the girls, dark and stormy was our cocktail of choice, while the boys had the sazerac. We all enjoyed our drinks. For apps..we ordered French fries (incredible), escargot (buttery garlicky goodness) and a charcuterie plate (MUST try the mousse--chicken liver if I remember correctly?). All... More

Mussels were good, but the rest of the food we had was average. They have a nice selection of cocktails and would definitely come back for drinks in the evening.

We stopped in here prior to having dinner at another establishment. The cocktail menu was amazing and their absinthe list was out of this world! We happened in during happy hour and there are several of their cocktails that can be had for $5. I had a sazarac and the Mrs had a Saint 75. Both were amazing and the... More

My husband and I decided to dine at Peche during a recent visit to Austin. We are glad we did. Nothing about our experience disappointed. Peche is located in downtown Austin, a convenient walk to most major downtown hotels. We generally like to share appetizers and an entree. It gives us a broader view of the food. Tonight was no... This is a great place to grab cocktails and a bite. They have many unique cocktails such as "death in the afternoon" which is absinthe and champagne. A drink invented by E. Hemingway. The mussels are great, perfectly cooked and flavored.

If you are in Austin and like good food this is the place to go! The duck confit is spectacular, the mac and cheese and the mushroom starters are just out if this world! Service could improve a bit, but overall its a must!

We were referred to Peche for the Absinthe but arrived hungry and decided to sample some items from their “snack” menu and were glad that we did. First we tried the mushroom fritters with herbed sour cream. They were little, soft clouds of succulent mushrooms formed into a ball. They tasted like a really good stuffed mushroom, but the texture... More

We visited from Seattle and toured the sixth street. Went in Peche for afternoon cocktails. We did not interact with the bartenders much but they were friendly and kept a good distance too. Would like to visit during happy hours.
