Peche is a terrific place to go for first- rate cocktails and drinks in general. Just try to ask for something they don 't have - you'll never do it: they have or will make any drink you can conceive of! An atmospheric, fun and fascinating place to spend time with friends .

After a light dinner in a nearby restaurant place we went to Peche for cocktails since it was happy hour all day Sunday. A significant number of cocktails are $5 and there are also some dishes at 50% off. Good deal. We had a number of cocktails in the party. I had a Saturn that has gin and passion fruit.... More

Stopped here when held up in traffic. The room is nice, staff is great. We ordered Bones and Frites, and Tuna. The bones were not conducive to housing much marrow and a very big disappointment, much like the bones. The Tuna was acceptable. The room was good, wooden floors and high ceilings made it exceptionally loud. Don't spend too much... More

We returned the last Thursday of October to Peche for another try exactly one month after our first ever visit. Before hearing The Bare Feat Band play at Cedar Street next door, we stopped in for a light late dinner at Peche. With some Topo Chico and Rosso Toscano for our drinks, we enjoyed the shrimp salad and a beet... More

This restaurant is truly a cocktail bar with exceptional food. If you get there early enough the owner will personally do everything he can to help you discover what will please your palate. The bartenders are clearly masters of their craft.

We hoped that Peche would be a nice surprise the last Thursday of September, but it felt like a bar that served food because it had to. There is a mixed message from the start with a menu that is clumsy and confusing - burgers and fries or near gourmet offerings. The red snapper was not snappy but acceptable as... More

What can I say, every trip to Austin I visit Peche!! It is in a historic old building with a very cool bar, the bartenders are incredibly knowledgable, food is great with a ever changing seasonal menu. If you are lucky enough to visit on a night the Spazmatics are playing downstairs at Cedar Street you are in for a... More

We had been bar hopping and decided to stop in. What we didn't realize we had made one of the best decisions for the night. We ordered a round of drinks and an app. Our waitress Shelly was knowledgable, helpful and a pleasure to visit with. She helped us navigate the drink menu better then anyone at any bar I've... More

We stopped in for pre-dinner cocktails but couldn't resist the happy hour appetizer menu. For the girls, dark and stormy was our cocktail of choice, while the boys had the sazerac. We all enjoyed our drinks. For apps..we ordered French fries (incredible), escargot (buttery garlicky goodness) and a charcuterie plate (MUST try the mousse--chicken liver if I remember correctly?). All... More

Mussels were good, but the rest of the food we had was average. They have a nice selection of cocktails and would definitely come back for drinks in the evening.
