Fantastic Brunch

I went here for brunch this past Sunday while I was visiting from out of town. If I lived in Austin, I would be a regular. All of the food looked and tasted amazing, especially the pancakes. The original mimosas were yummy. I didn't care for the berry. It was more like a blush wine.

My daughters took me to Olivia's for a belated Mothers Day. None of had been there before so we were all delighted. Paul, our server, was friendly, helpful and prompt. Great start! We decided to share so we could try everything. We all loved the kick from the jalapeño hollandaise in the soft shell crab eggs Benedict. The eggs Florentine... More

We were told upon arrival that we couldn't eat there unless we had a reservation, despite tons of tables being open, because the restaurant was running out of food.... So we walked outside, got on OpenTable, made a reservation for that exact time and walked back inside, announcing we now had a reservation. The hostess didn't seem to appreciate this... More

We had a sizable party - eight people - for brunch at noon on Sunday. Knowing it was going to be busy, we made a reservation. We arrived at 11:45 and were told that the party at our table was leaving the table and that they'd have it turned by noon. At noon, we checked again and were told that... More

Olivia bills themselves as an an upscale fusion restaurant. They take themselves much too seriously and need to get the basics right first. We had marinated olives and frites to start. The olives were lovely but there was only one red olive (the best one), 3 green olives (second best) and lots of little brown ones (OK, but not compared... More

I've been a regular at Olivia for years. I keep coming back because of the ever changing menus and the consistent high quality of the food. In 4 years I think I've had 2 meals that were over cooked or otherwise not up to standards. And of course they have one of the best brunches in the city. When people... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Many great things on the menu and found it hard to choose from so many choices.

Olivia is a great go-to restaurant. They are happy to have children around and encourage them to try new things. Don't miss out on brunch. Chef can do some great things with grits!

I was curious to try this place, it was very disappointed, I ordered the salmon and tested like something you can cook at home, my friends ordered the pork belly and was really bad, definitely I don't recommend this restaurant.

It doesn't matter who you are, when you go or what you order, you will always experience not only five star customer service, but absolutely delicious, fresh, organic food. And, they will always treat you like you are their favorite customer.
