I still go to the Alamo a lot because I like being able to get a beer, but I'm ordering food less and less. Their vegetarian options have decreased in quality and quantity. They also serve some of the veggie options in dishes that are ABSURD for eating in the dark on your lap. I was given mac&cheese (not good)... More

We were visiting Austin for the weekend when we dicided to catch a movie. The Alamo was spacious and beautiful. We only wish we had reserved our seats on-line! Food was awesome. Loved the experience!

Great combo of pub food, high quality home brewed beer in a superb movie theatre. Makes for a great date night option for lazy couples.

I love the Alamo, and don't ever see movies at "regular" theaters anymore. The Village is near our house, so this is our standby. Good service, good food, great experience. The Village is more state of the art than some of the other locations (e.g., Lake Creek) - they have tablet ordering and they can run a tab. It makes... More

As a fan of both RHS and RHPS, I HAD to take the time to see it in Austin...hey it's an Austin experience! We had a blast, the audience was great and the participation case made it hilarious. I have done audience participation at other places, but this cast found a lot of quirky comments I had never heard before.... More

This is a winner. Easy to watch a movie and love the hummus and the pizzas. If I drank, I'm sure the beer is cold. A little pricy, but considering it's a movie and dinner, it works out. Always an experience.

I can't imagine I can add anything that hasn't already been said about the Alamo. The servers are friendly, the food is tasty, and the well-behaved audiences are incredible. Every movie theatre should be an Alamo.

This place is excellent, the food is good, the beer is great. We accidentally purchased tickets for the wrong day, and even though we didn't notice until the next day, they even let us exchange the tickets even though the show we accidentally bought for was the day before. I've gone to every location in Austin and they are all... More

I love the Alamo Drafthouse theaters. Everything about them. Their quirky humor, their food and drink menu, and ESPECIALLY their no talking/no cell phones/no small children/no half an hour of previews rules. They put regular movie theaters to shame. I'm glad there aren't any Drafthouses in my hometown- I'd be broke! :)
