Nice bar and grill

We went with a group to watch a Packer football game (yes I know this is Austin TX but Packers none the less). We sat outside on what turned out to be a warm sunny day. Could have used a little shade depending on where you sit. Kind of crowded with a very nice crowd. Great selection of beers on... read more

Billy's is very casual with a young crowd, and is open later than other eateries in the area. The menu is mostly burgers and great overstuffed sandwiches. I am hooked on the Avocado Rueben, made as good as a Rueben can get, but it has perfectly ripe avocado slices instead of corned beef. The fries were great too. Not much... More

I don't think there is a better burger place in Austin, and I have tried quite a few. All are good, but I'm particualry partial to the spicy blue burger and the LA J (with avocado). Hot, juicy meat and outsatanding buns. Also exceoptional are the sides - especially the onion rings, fried mushrooms, and okra.Often, though, I resist the... More

We went with another couple at their suggestion. Arrived at 6PM on a Saturday. Wasn't apparent that orders were not taken at table until we spoke to other patrons. Ordered The Hoss, a BBQ sandwich. Came with fries and ordered side of fried zucchini. Overall good food. No comment on service as none other than host at bar taking orders.... More

They have a great rotating selection of seasonal beers. And, it's all about the beer here. And, the food is what you might expect at a bar. Great burgers that you can substitute with chicken; plenty of vegetarian options. Plenty of outside seating where you are welcome with your dogs. There is a pool table inside, too. Parking can be... A favorite is the Cobra burger. Don't let the jalapenos scare you off, they seed and grill them, so there is very, very little heat, but lots of flavor. Chili is great on cold winter days. One of the local motorcycle groups has a weekly lunch here. Food is always good, parking is a bit tough at times, but street... More

Our family favorite is the Cobra burger, but there are many more varieties to choose from that are equally as terrific.

Basically a sports bar with wonderful beer selection and one of the best burgers in Austin. I won't say the best, because Billy also owns the Dog and Duck Pub which also has incredible burgers! At Billy's, the Schultz with a side salad and chipolte ranch dressing is my favorite. Good food, good value

This is a great little place. Plenty of beers on tap, a big patio to enjoy the sunshine, and really good burgers. They've got fantastic onion rings, too--nice sweet juicy onions. Oh, and the Frito pie is also really good!

Nice beer selection with regional and out-of-state micros. The Uptown burger was phenomenal, as was the bite I tried from the Ends burger (blue cheese and hot sauce). Very good onion rings too--a rarity nowadays for some reason.
