This place is like walking into a small old fashioned diner....one from the 50s or 60s; lots of locals hanging out, reading the paper, visiting with the owner who knows all his regulars and makes a point of getting to know the newbies...like us :) Here you don't have to have a disposable cup; you have the choice of drinking... Have you ever tasted a fresh bagel? No, I mean a really fresh bagel, like just made. No? Then do yourself a favor and go to Irises. Iris Bagels has been a favorite haunt of Arlington for quite awhile now (which is saying something. Only the best places survive in Arlington's highly competitive restaurant environment). Run by one family, a... More

We walked into Iris and immediately knew we had found a local gem. Fantastic bagels/selection, coffees, desserts, and all in a quaint setting. Our food was fantastic, and our coffees were perfect. Highly recommended!

Possibly the friendliest people ever!!!! The flamethrower was awesome and the cinnamon raisin with blueberry cream cheese is the way to go. Fresh squeezed juice.....wow. My wife is rather snooty about her coffee and she loved their latte. Definitely a hidden gem in the metroplex.

Tell EVERYBODY! This place is amazing. There's no flashy neon outside, no huge billboard. This has got to be the best bagel I have ever had. I had a veggie sandwich on a garlic bagel. Not too tough, slightly crispy, and very flavorful Unfortunately, there are no pictures, because the sandwich vanished! Stop in today! You'll love it!

Just had the "southside flame thrower" bagel sandwich. Bagel, egg, cheese, sausage and jalapenos. Awesome! $4

This place is not in my neighborhood, but my wife and I make the drive on many a weekend. They have a wide variety of great bagels. And I usually get one of their "Eggel" or "Monkey" breakfast sandwiches. Also, I am somewhat of a coffee snob and their coffee receives very high marks from me - try the Snickeroo.... More

Stopped at Iris Bagel for breakfast last 2 Sunday mornings. Great eggle (bagel, egg, bacon etc on a bagel) and coffee. Many flavors of bagels to choose from. Quick and friendly service. They also serve bagel sandwiches for lunch. Brian will remember you. He remembers everyone. Thanks Brian for the good time!
