I am in Arlington for business and After reading the reviews, how could i not try this place. I got the house special with bacon wrapped shrimp and steak.. and it was the best choice I have ever made.. The food was delicious!! The staff were amazing and very friendly. They even offered me a free dessert since I had... More

1st let's start off with the salsa they give you 3 different ones to choose from. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were ok and my boyfriend ordered a chicken chimi and he loved it. Overall, ok place to eat.

I am from California and we have our share of Mexican restaurants. I love Mexican food and eat it several times a week. The in-laws live in Arlington and have been going here for quite a while and rave about it, so off we went. The outside looks like an upper end restaurant. The staff is very friendly and very... My husband, son and I had a late lunch (2 pm) on Friday, the first of August. We drove straight from the airport to satisfy our craving for the kind of Mexican food that you cannot get in Miami, Fl. I chose Abuelos after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, expecting typical TexMex combinations. Instead, our first meal in Texas after... More

I am seeing a common theme..lack of service. We have been going here since they opened over 17 years ago. It is our favorite Mexican restaurant here. They have the best queso..best pineapple cilantro salsa and enchiladas. But service has been horrible the past few years. We are going to drive and try a different Abuelos location. Also..be aware there... More

Been to ABUELOS's Many times and it has always been an enjoyable, consistent experience.dly Always a Friendly Greeting by the Hostess Staff . Our server Lorenza was friendly, kind, hospitable and accommodating. Crispy light and thin warm Chips with 3 types of Salsa to begin for your table. I asked for Picante Caliente in addition, and believe me it was... More

While on a recent trip to Arlington, we decided to try Abuelo's. We really did love it so much, we went twice to eat there. Their menu has a wide variety of foods to choose from. My husband had a steak and enchilada combo meal that also came with guacamole and flan for around $20. He really enjoyed it. Even... More

The tamales aren't listed on the menu separately, but we asked our server, Zanetta, if they could be ordered and she was happy to place that order. Hubby has eaten tamales all over Central America and he thought these were among the best! The spinach casserole side dish is awesome. Unlimited nice thin light tortilla chips and three salsas. Everything... More
