It feels very spacious inside and brightly lit. Attentive waitress. Outside seating a bit crowded andit was too windy that day to enjoy it. Fajitas were good and tortillas warm. Quick lunch service.

We had heard about this chain from my husband's co-workers so we decided to try it out while we were in Arlington for Spring Break. The ambiance is very nice once you get past the plastic decor. The service was excellent. I liked that the tables were laid out so it wasn't so crowded. The food was very good. As... More

We visited Abuelos for a Sunday afternoon lunch, and a wonderful lunch it was! My wife had grilled tilapia, I had beef enchiladas, the presentation was beautiful and it was great meal. Our server was very helpful when ordering and the service was exceptional. Overall, a first class experience and we will return on our next visit Arlington.

Great food and our server, Elyscia was the best. I had the Pescado Guerro and the Mrs. had the cheese enchiladas. Excellent. The cheese dip was also great.

This was my 1st visit to this place and I will absolutely return when I'm back in the area. Chips came with three different salsa and all were good. Service was great and they had a good selection of beers to go with my meal.

I've eaten at the Abuelo's in Amarillo twice. The first time I thought it was ok. The second time I was a little more impressed with it. Then by coincidence I ate at one in TN. I LOVED it and looked for ones closer to my home in MD. After going to the one in Arlington two days in a... More

I had the lunch fajita tacos and my husband had the chicken quesadilla. I tried both and both were outstanding! We also loved the jalapeno salsa and guacamole. The chips were so thin and crispy, they broke when we tried to eat the guac. Just like we like it! If you're looking for a flavorful lunch or dinner location, this... More

Actually, the answer to that question is NO. My experience at Abuelo's was subpar throughout, ranging from subpar service at the bar, subpar salsa, subpar chips and subpar food. This is about the most "Americanized" Mexican food and establishment I've ever been to short of Taco Bell. Everything was bland. That's about as well as I can describe it. The... More

We went to Abuelo's because we have heard great things about this place and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious! It is pretty big portions and for the price it's not bad at all. Usually when you go in a group of 9 you get 2 servers, and we only received one and he was great! Our server... More
