Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuelo's offers diners the opportunity to experience real Mexican food, combining authentic, made from scratch classic dishes with the rich, subtle flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine. Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). To compliment your meal, our expert bartenders are masters at crafting signature favorites, including a wide variety of margaritas and swirls. Catering is also an option, our staff are adept at delivering a professional, hassle-free and delicious meal. Whatever the occasion, we'll stop at nothing to make your time at Abuelo's a memorable dining experience.

Excellent fajitas!

Went there with a group of business associates, they handled the group quickly and effectively. I had the chicken and steak fajitas followed by the margarita pie. The place was very clean and everyone was friendly.

Traveling for business by myself and sat at the bar. The service was excellent. 1/2 price appetizers and drinks. I had the spinach stuffed mushrooms and the Australian Sea Bass for dinner. Food was delicious. I will go back when I'm in the area.

Went with a colleague for lunch. I'm not usually crazy about dining at chain restaurants, even when on the company dime, but this place was really good. The chips come with 3 kinds of salsa (hot, mild, sweet) which is a welcome surprise. I had the beef enchilada and beef taco combo. The beans were finely mixed, no lumps here.... More

Menu includes traditional fare with some very scrumptious additions. The grilled bacon wrapped pork tenderloin with enchiladas was a special treat to the taste buds! Servers anticipated needs and quickly responded to requests. Avery pleasant experience!

Best franchise bartender ever. Nothing premeasured. Free pour. If you know what this means you will appreciate... Mike was the manager on duty. Bartender was Trini Both were outstanding. This is a shining star among the Saltgrass resteraunts. Saw Mike send back a steak that was undercooked. Then personally spoke to the customer and corrected the issue. Unheard of among... More

My husband and I liked the ambience, and our waitress was attentive, but they're way overpriced. My husband's brocheta de filete was good, but was a small portion for $21.99. I ordered the vegetable fajitas, which were sizzling hot but really bland. They came with cold, soggy white rice. Not worth $12.49. My husband's seasoned rice was cold as well.... More

Very happy the two of you enjoyed the ambiance and service at our place, but it's disappointing hearing that you were displeased with the food. First off, I'm very sorry to hear the rice you received was anything but warm -- that's completely out of the ordinary. Of course, for future reference, if anything you receive is not cooked to... Abuelo's food was delicious and the service was good. Fatima (our server) was very sweet and personable. The manager on duty that night (didn't get his name) was awesome. I will definitely return to Abuelo's when I visit Texas again.

Like the food and the ambiance. Service is just ok. For the price we pay i think is a god value. The El Fenix have a better sauce.

We appreciate this feedback from you greatly. Glad to hear you enjoyed the food and ambiance, but we never want our service to be rated anything under exceptional. Our staff is highly trained, so this feedback is a bit strange to hear. We hope we can have you back for another shot in the future. All the best, Miles Leal More
