Piccolo Mondo has been one of Arlington's favorite upscale restaurants--and for good reason. This restaurant has the charming elegance, the peaceful feeling, the impeccable service, the delectable and varied menu choices, and the meal presentation worthy of any quality east-coast restaurant. I took my husband here for his birthday, and we were not disappointed. Even though the restaurant boasts Italian... More

I took my wife here for her birthday on the recommendation of a few friends. I will say that the food was good. The house salad dressing is delicious. We had fish and steak, along with some pasta. The pasta was fantastic and the fish and steak were good. I've definitely had better steaks in the DFW area & at... More

Neatly nestled in a North Arlington strip center where Whole Foods is the anchor, is a restaurant that satisfies everything one looks for in a restaurant. Great food, good service and great atmosphere. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once inside its hard to believe you just walked into a classic upscale Italian restaurant. The piano is... More

Nestled between an eyeglass and UPS store in a strip shopping center is this restaurant.  What with the shutters closed and the entry way rather dark it looks like it is closed.  However, when one opens the door it's like entering a little bit of Italy.  There is a musician playing a piano and the decor is reminiscent of an... This is a well-run establishment. Very good menu. Great service. We sampled all sorts of items from the menu. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts was delicious. Our hotel recommended this place and it was an excellent recommendation. I had one of the more expensive items on the menu ($38) and it was worth EVERY penny.

This is my favorite restaurant in the DFW area. I have been going there for many years. There was an advertisement in my hotel room when I came to DFW to interview for a job in 1997. We tried it and loved it. The beef medallions with peppercorn sauce is the best menu item I have ever tasted on a... More

This was my second visit to this restaurant and I have found the food and service very consistent. I had the special chicken marsala for lunch, which came with a bow tie pasta. The chicken was just a little dry, but the sauce made up for the dryness. The pasta was nicely cooked and was quite yummy. We have found... More

I ended up here on the suggestion of my co-worker, it was relatively close to the hotel and when I checked tripadvisor the reviews seemed decent. What a mistake. The waiter was nice enough, and honestly, I think that is why I went with 3 stars here. I ordered a 1/2 carafe of chianti. Now, I know not to expect... More

We had read great reviews about Piccolo's but were a bit turned-off when we saw it was located in a strip mall. However, when we went inside, it was very cozy and intimate. Service was fantastic, Miguel took good care of us. Delicious food, delicious wine. We would recommend for a nice night out and would return.

Service was very bad. Waiter confused about wine and messed a lot of things up but joked on all the tables about it being his first night. The food was tasteless and overpriced. They had ok cracked pepper or fresh Parmesan (I even have that at home) provided with a powdered cheese with a spoon- classy. The house wine is... More
