I was so surprised when I saw that Piccolo Mondo was not higher up on the Trip Advisor list (It's Zagat Rated). I have been going to Piccolo Mondo since I was in my early 20's and over 10 years later its still the ONLY place to go if you are looking for 5 star service and a beautiful atmosphere... More

the taste here has been consistent for years. Friendly servers, attentive and present owner, and flavors that never vary. The chicken dishes, Marsala and piccata, always fresh tender and tasty. It's an interesting sauce (gravy to some) and it too never varies form his family formula. Not too pasty, and flavorful. Always an accommodating kitchen to changes, and the salads... More

Food was good - those in our party who had red snapper said it was outstanding! The service, however, was out of this world! Very nice atmosphere - live piano music. A bit on the pricy side, but a very nice evening out for our large party.

My family took me to Piccolo Mondo this week for my birthday. Years ago we had loved going to Portofino's restaurant nearby and they thought it would be similar. ATMOSPHERE: The pianist was fantastic; however, although the restaurant was little more than half full, it became very difficult to carry on a conversation at our table with the piano music... More

Wonderful Italian restaurant with fresh ingredients. Fantastic pasta and seafood. Amazing salads. We were not able to try everything in one visit, although we tried tilapia, sole, pasta with marinara, two salads, and the cheesecake. This is a quiet restaurant with a nice bar in the middle of Arlington. It has been in this location for 31 years. The owner... More

We have been eating here for almost 30 years. Everything is excellent about this restaurant. Great bar, great food, great service. This restaurant has only a male wait staff. Some of them have been here since we started coming. The owner and his son are delightful. I hope we can continue eating here for another 30 years.

Piccolo Mondo has been one of Arlington's favorite upscale restaurants--and for good reason. This restaurant has the charming elegance, the peaceful feeling, the impeccable service, the delectable and varied menu choices, and the meal presentation worthy of any quality east-coast restaurant. I took my husband here for his birthday, and we were not disappointed. Even though the restaurant boasts Italian... More

I took my wife here for her birthday on the recommendation of a few friends. I will say that the food was good. The house salad dressing is delicious. We had fish and steak, along with some pasta. The pasta was fantastic and the fish and steak were good. I've definitely had better steaks in the DFW area & at... More

Neatly nestled in a North Arlington strip center where Whole Foods is the anchor, is a restaurant that satisfies everything one looks for in a restaurant. Great food, good service and great atmosphere. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once inside its hard to believe you just walked into a classic upscale Italian restaurant. The piano is... More
