The Keg Steakhouses are a chain of restaurants scattered over the USA and particularly in Texas. The one on Interstate 20 in Arlington Texas lives up to the chain's reputation: handsome interior, comfortable tables, excellent waiters, a bar that knows how to make a perfect dry martini, a fine wine list, and excellent steaks and, in season, lobster. This was... More

It's expensive but I feel it's worth it for the ambiance, service, and menu. Our waiter, Mark, was very nice. I had a glass of red wine which he expertly poured. The sourdough bread is delicious, we had three orders of it. We started with the Lobster Grantinee appetizer. Delicious. Mark recommended the Lobster Manhattan, which my friend and I... More

We were wedged in next to a birthday party and so had difficulty hearing each other. The bread and salads were good. My chicken with lobster, a summer special, was disappointing, unfortunately, but hubby's steak with lobster was much better. Eh, for the price, I'm not sure it was worth it.

While the food was delicious and the ambiance was very sophisticated, the service ruined the evening. We waited an unusually long time for our first drinks and the beer selection was uneventful. When the server dropped off our appetizers, we didn't even have silverware. My husband had to get up and bring us some. While sitting out on the patio,... More

Wife got a $25 coupon for her birthday, so we decided to stop in before a musical tonight. It was a bit early, and the place was dead. This is probably in part to their uninteresting happy hour. (They have a few specialty cocktails like Old Fashioneds and fancy Manhattans but "no dollar off calls" or anything of the sort.... More

Our evening at The Keg was wonderful, the service was perfect and the foods was superb, exactly as I requested since I am very picky as to how my filet mignon is prepared.

Wasn't sure exactly what it would be like as the name is somewhat conflicting. Best Prime Rib I have had in many many years! Great service ~ classy ~ and I will go back again to try the filet!

Celebrating my daughter's birthday, our party of four included my six year old granddaughter. Although she was the only child in the restaurant, they were able to accommodate her with a child's menu. My Lobster was perfectly prepared, my daughter loved her Prime Rib and my husband enjoyed a Filet Mignon. From the Clam Chowder to the Brownie Sundae, everything... More

Nice steakhouse w okay food. The service is great and the cocktail lounge is welcoming. The food is good but not great. Best advice from me is to go for drinks and have dinner elsewhere.

We ate here with my parents and a few other family members on a Wednesday night a few weeks ago. Certainly underwhelmed and wondering where the other reviewers have been eating their steaks. At best it compares to an Outback or Texas Roadhouse. But I would rate Texas Roadhouse over this place any day of the week. It certainly does... More
