Having a little burger wars competition - my son and I visiting a lot of burger joints in DFW. Twisted Root is right at the top/a finalist for sure. Awesome burgers, great variety in burgers. Fresh, hot, great bun, juicy, spicy, etc. Great tasting beef (very important). Fresh cut fries are crispy and that is not always the case with... More

Burgers are not hard - these burgers are overrated. I don't need to be yelled at with fake names. The food is average - would not go back.

you line up to order your food and they call your name (character) they give you and you go pick it up yourself. You don't get much time to look over the menu and staff not overly helpful, it was our first time and we had a party of seven. They do have wild game that you can choose from... More

What a cool place to have a burger and the burgers holy crap! The burgers were awesome. They have several different types and I wish I could have tried them all. I had the wing style and the mix of buffalo sauce and the blue cheese was perfect. The fries were good. A must stop in Arlington. Check out the... More

The burgers here are wild. All kinds of options here (llama, ostrich boar, etc). Fried pickles, and sweet potato fries are a must. Has an RV inside the building. Just too cool. Looks like a place you'd find in Austin or something. Just a super cool place to grab an awesome burger. Might spend a couple of bucks on the... More

They have the best burgers I've had in a while. The wild game meat is a bit more expensive but that's to be expected. the burgers are so big juicy and have tons of flavor. The fried pickles are a little to salty for me but the fries and onion rings are great. They have a pickle bar with about... More

Decor is like being in an RV Park. There is an RV in the restaurant which is actually the bar. There are a lot of choices for burgers which you go to the counter to place your order and return to the counter to pick up your order. Everything is ala carte. I had the Shroom Burger which was on... More

For a casual outing with great burgers, fries, homemade root beer, and all the pickles you can eat, this is the place. We've come here twice and both times have had excellent burgers. If you are into variety, you can order unusual burgers like ostrich or buffalo. In our party, we only tried beef and turkey, which were both top... More

This burger is near the campus of UTA. My son took me there for an early dinner. The atmosphere was a typical college hangout and the wait staff were very friendly and upbeat. I ordered the "Kevin Bacon" which was awesome - thick cut bacon and crumbled blue cheese. Yet, the ultimate treat was the pickle bar. You had a... More
