So glad I tried this place!!!

Went for dinner tonight and glad I did. The sticky wings were so tasty. The plantains are addictive. The mannish water soup is now my personal favorite. The service is outstanding.

We stopped off at Jamaica Gates in the mood to try something different. Reviews seemed good, though service was mentioned as an issue. But, I figured everyone has an off day. When we got there the place was pretty full. Nobody was manning the door and it was hard to tell if you should just seat yourself. However after about... More

Try their Rasta Pasta, Jerk Burger, Fried Fish and Curry Chicken. I ate there everyday I was in Dallas. Loved it

We have been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. I have to say however we avoid going there on weekend evenings as it can get very crowded and waiters and waitresses get extremely busy and have to scurry back and forth. We did go there once on a weekend evening and the tables were lit with... More

My friends and I went there for a birthday dinner, we waited for about 40 minutes before they brought the water. There was one table ahead of us and one that came after us, both tables were served before us.They picked up our order after about 50 minutes and they weren't even apologetic. The place was not even crowded. We had... More

We were seated promptly, but it took 35 minutes for us to get water. Our waiter took an additional 15 minutes to get us a drink menu and it wasn't many people there at all. I expected this because of the other reviews. The food Is great but if you are hungry this is not the place for you. Most... More

A surprised dinner location with dining for 2 on a Saturday evening. Arrived by 6:30pm with no delays in seating. Restaurant was almost full- those who dined prior to us were still there enjoying the ambiance. All nationalities here! Food must be good-I thought. To my surprise an authentic Jamaican Band began setting up. True Jamaicans with the mesmerizing accents-... More

I had the curry chicken. It comes with the bones still in the meat. So you take a bite and spit out the bones. This is an overly spicy dish for me. It is not for me and I won't go back, but maybe if you are used to Jamaican food your opinion would be different. The people there are... More

Took my Dad here to eat. We had a platter and then other items. The citrus sticky wings are my favorite now. The catfish and fries were seasoned to perfection. The jungle juice had enough alcohol in it to take all the day's stresses away:) the service was good and staff was friendly

We went there for a buffet lunch. We were office friends. The choice was limited but interesting. Brown rice with brown beans, steamed cabbage, white rice, curry chicken, jerk chicken, chicken brown stew, salmon fry and lettuce. The restaurant is clean and silent. There is ample space at that hour. The service is commendably nice. The food was OK. The... More
