We went there at lunch time, because i liked some of the reviews on yelb. Very disappointed, worth service ever, they are expert in neglecting people. 1- No one was at the door to welcome the customers. 2- Only 2 people working at the restaurant. The waitress was shouting from a faraway saying: you guys can sit anywhere we want.... More

I finally tried this place after having it highly recommended to me by multiple friends who are from the Caribbean. (Having limited experience with Jamaican food myself, this is what leads me to believe it's authentic.) It was delicious. I went for the lunch buffet, and the food was sooo good I felt like I got a great value. The... More

I tried this place after trying STAY C's Carribean Cuisine in Arlington the previous Saturday. However, STAY C's only sells oxtail on Saturdays and I was craving oxtail on a Tuesday so I figured why not try Jamaica Gates? Bad decision. Their oxtail is 3dollars more than what I paid at STAY C's and I got wayyyy less. At STAY... More

This place is great! No matter what we order it is always deliciously spiced and cooked to perfection. Great drink menu, too. Service can be slow during busy times, but it's worth it. Fun going on weekend nights when they have live music!

My husband and I have been here on several occasions and we are always satisfied. The jerk chicken is exactly like we had in Jamaica and the chocolate rum cake is amazing!!!! The rum punch will knock you on your behind. If you live in Arlington and you haven't been you are missing out!

I recommend everyone try this place! I have had the red stipe jerk chicken and the curry chicken. It's good, awesome, off the hook, and off the chain. Great laid back place to give your taste buds a whirlwind of flavor and spices! Try it folks!!

My third time here and they have not failed me. So far everything that we have eaten has been so delicious and authentic. We have tried the rude boy shrimp, sticky citrus wings, gates curry chicken, red stripe chicken, rude boy chicken and the ox tails!!! NOT ONE BAD THING!!!

Love Jamrock? Want some Jerk Chicken but dont know where to go besides Scottchies in MoBay? This is definitely a memorable Caribbean Culinary escape that you can pull off on a whim. Also if you haven't been to Jamrock or wonder what the food is like they will walk you throughout their menu and offer sampler platters. Its fun and... More
