So at least get some worth eating... This is good. not over-smoked but has enough bark to qualify. Dickey's should take a lesson from them.

With many really good barbecue restaurants to choose from, Rudy's rates well. Although not my favorite, the food is always good, and the servings of meat plentiful. Their downside is a lack of hot veggie sides like Dickie's offers, but it's a different type of place with a different target audience. If you're traveling through Arlington, Texas on I-20 and...

this place was clean and the personel was very polite and helpful with any questions you had...seating was comfortable and had plenty of tv's to watch...the bbq itself was somewhat disappointing being it was supposed to be smoked.....the individual sides were small, and all was on the piece price range, not like other bbq restaurants...overall an average rating
GREAT barbque here! Very casual atmosphere. Your dish is put on wax paper so take me at my word - ultra casual. That being said, the food is great. Very family friendly. You eat at picnic tables or lunch tables.
First the Good: The folks there were so nice, I actually went there twice during my stay in Arlington. The greet you with a smile at the door, ask often if everything is OK. The keep the place immaculate even during the busy hours. Everyone was very helpful without exception. They'll even let you sample before you buy!

The staff was very friendly. I had the pulled pork with the Original Sauce and it was very good. They have a great varity of drinks chilled in ice. Nice Texan ambiance for eat in dining.
The meat here has a nice smoke flavor, but I cannot excuse any place that serves meat off paper. I have no desire to cut brisket on paper and am especially offended by the thought of prime rib served on paper.
If in town looking for a no nonsense bbq place, this is it. Good bbq at a reasonable price. Lots if local come to Rudys
The BBQ is good but the breakfast tacos are where it's at. Lots to choose from and all worth it. Go on the weekend for smoked prime rib!
If you don't mind sauce running down to your elbows, this is the place to go. The brisket was so good we went back for more, and the turkey is lean and tasty. Yum! Their BBQ Sauce is good, but only regular and mild, they could use some spice. The ribs were good too, but we've had better, don't waste...
