Stopped in for lunch with a friend to eat some BBQ at Rudy's in South Arlington. It was lunchtime but the line moved along quickly. I had the beef brisket...fatty side. It was cooked just right and had great flavor. Rudy's has a nice condiment bar with onions, pickles, peppers, etc. to finish out your plate. I left with a... More

Go there for that. Everything else is substandard...and I really don't care if Mitt Romney likes it, or not!

I tried Rudy's with a friend on a business trip and truly enjoyed the experience. A classic Texas Bar B Q. I suggest this to all Bar B Q enthusiasts.

I decided on stopping in after the recommendation of someone who had heard good things about it themselves. Rudy's is designed to look like a road side filling station that doubles as a bar-b-que joint. The gas pumps out front are real and it does have a little store in the front, but the main attraction is the "que". You... More

Really good food. That's where it ends. Slow to get food and by the time you add a drink with no side dish it was $10 for 1/2 pound servings. Look for another barbecue place that offers combo deals with at least a side!!!

Absolutely awesome meats! They give you samples to taste so you know what you might like to order! If we had one here, I could definitely cut out lots of carbs. The atmosphere is fun, but not fancy at all. The employees seem to like their jobs, too. This place was recommended to us by hotel staff. We had never... More

My first trip to Rudy's. Staff were very friendly from the moment we walk in till we left. The food was very good. I really enjoyed Rudy's beans. We had ribs, brisket and a pulled pork sandwich. Would recommend a stop when in town.

Rudy's is a large chain BBQ. Have eaten at the one North of Houston and down around Austin. Arlington location is right in line with those. Good reliable BBQ. Nothing is going to win any contests. But overall it is good food. Make sure and ask for moist/tip/fatty brisket. Flat is usually a little dry. Good ribs/sausage. Same with sides.... More

Wasn't sure what to expect when we walked in here but the smell coming from the kitchen area was making my mouth water. BBQ! Picnic tables to sit at and glass garage doors for the windows. No plates here. Everything served on butcher paper and sides and desserts in take out styrofoam bowls. This is no way detracts from the... More

Great ribs which are my favorite but the pulled pork and turkey were also good. We had the potato salad and wish we had gotten a double order instead of the cold slaw. Don't know where they get their onions but they are always so sweet. Our order was to go for a large family get together. Rudy's never disappoints!
