I found it on my I phone map. I ordered the fryed catfish with hush puppy's, mashed potatoes and green beans. The food was delishus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is served on styrofoam plates, it's a very simple place but the food and the people are great. It's lunch only they close at 4:00.

If you're looking for fancy, this is not the place for you. If you've got a hankering for good home-cooked soul food, come on in! I had a very tasty (and hot) seafood etoufee. Yum.

Very good tiny restaurant. He let us sample the food before buying. We had the smothered pork chops and macaroni, very delicious.

We had the smothered pork chops, green beans and mashed potatos. The gravy was the best I've ever tasted and the pork chops fell off the bone. It was so tasty. Can't wait to go back!

Very delicious food. Had seafood etoufee and wife had gumbo. Both were excellent. Red beans were also some of best I ever had. Very good service and friendly staff. Felt like they had invited me to their home for lunch. Highly recommend.

I ate there today at lunch with a friend, wondering how i grew up in this city and never heard of the #1 rated restaurant in town. It is a small cafe in a B strip center next to a T-shirt maker. 5 tables. You stand in line next to people eating so that you can order at the counter... More

After reading reviews, I was excited to try this place out with my wife. When we drove up, that same excitement faded a little as I was wondering if I had made the right decision. After going inside and getting our food, however, I knew that I had picked a great place to eat. I had the seafood etouffee and... More

Damian's serves up the best southern food we've had since living in Louisiana 25 years ago. A little hard to find, small, but definitly worth the trip.
