Classic small town diner

They actually know what " over medium" eggs means. Just a simple diner, with friendly staff, bottomless coffee, and the conversations of locals.

Bakery cafe in Aransas Pass,TX, is a fantastic country breakfast restaurant - and you can tell by all the locals dining in there! Nothing fancy, just good down-home cooking like grandma used to make. Inlets are flat and filled, bacon crisp but not over cooked and the biscuits are golden brown and fluffy. While in Port Aransas, we always take... More

Great food and service. Had the breakfast special, 2 eggs, ham, grits and 2 biscuits. Everything was excellent as was the coffee and the service. When you walk insid, you think you have time jumped back to the 60s. Fresh and clean is how I would describe the interior. A must stop for the AP visitor

Haven't tried lunch or dinner but the breakfast Is good. If your looking for an old style diner with good food and good service then this place can't be beat! Everybody is friendly and knows each other feels like your walking in to grandma's house!

This is a good breakfast place. If you are from out of town and eat out regularly, you will find that the food is good, but not great. I do eat here frequently and they serve a good variety of types of food.

We had the chicken fried steak, which was breaded in house, not your typical pre-breaded stuff. The gravy was good, and the corn was, too. Overall, good meal in a diner type setting. Friendly staff.

My husband and I were travelling through and happed to stop for a quick breakfast. We like to dine at mom/pop type places. The place was packed. We both ordered omelets which were very good. Our waitress was good and personable. Nice place and it seemed to be a local's diner.

Thank Meredith J
