Busy place, lots of food, nice service

This is a seat yourself cafe with more seating on the other side of the wall from the main entrance. This is a plain cafe, no ambience, just large portions of decent food. Our server was overly busy when we got there however was very attentive. The fried catfish was huge, the broccoli and... read more

The food is good, not great but good. The wait staff is hit and miss. If one of the older ladies waits on you, it will be a great experience. They know the menu and make sure everything is taken care of. If you get one of the younger girls, well, it might not be so great. They don't know... More

We try new local restaurants each time we visit the area. Had the dogs with us, so ordered take-out. The food was fresh and well prepared, just good stuff like mom used to make. The fish was piping hot and nicely breaded without corn meal, which was a welcome change in Texas. This place definitely deserves it's 4th position of popularity... More

I love cafe's and this was one of the best I have ever ate at. Food was excellent and omg the service is great, they have several waitresses & I mean like lots of help. Fast service and very town home feeling. Food was very cheap too!

I recently ate at the Bakery Café with a group of family members. There were 6 of us in all. Our server, who appeared to be new, graciously split the check into 3 different parties, and took very good care of us. We were there for breakfast on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The place was crowded, but our server was... More

after trying several cafes at Port Aransas this Bakery Cafe in Aransas Pass was so refreshing to actually find a place with good food at reasonable prices. 4 of us ate 3 different type meals and they were all very good. Very friendly staff, good service and timely seating and service. Will go back for sure.

I am an extremely patient person, but I expect to be acknowledge when I enter a business, especially if it isn't crowded. We had read decent reviews and decided to try it for lunch at 2pm on a Weds. A long empty dining counter and 80% of the tables were empty. The first employee we encountered was on the phone... More

Decent place for a quick breakfast while on the coast. Not great just average, like so many places for breakfast. Was there Sunday for breakfast while headed toward Port A. They were steady customer wise even if the rain was coming down hard while we were there. Now the coffee and service was good. We both had the two egg combo.... More
