Size and quality were above average. We had takeout and the chicken fried steak, fries and garlic mashed potatoes were good.

Went for the Wed night Prime Rib special with another couple and all 4 of us had great meals. The prime was juicy and tender and we were served the correct "doneness". The veggie sides were good too. The waitress was friendly and prompt. The drinks were good. The décor is typically western and cute in a funky sorta way.... More

The steaks we had were cooked properly and that is the only thing that we enjoyed about our meal. The hubbys Filet with gorgonzola demi glace had two tiny pieces of cheese hidden underneath. I never figured out what the bacon stuff on my loaded Potatoe was. If you want bread it will cost you extra. Water served in jars... More

I visited this restaurant for the 1st time with some locally based family. This restaurant serves great food! We had the Prime Rib sandwich that was served with a little portion of horseradish sauce and french fries, but no au jus sauce and Chicken Fried Steak. When i asked for some extra horseradish for my sandwich, the waitress brought another... More

Prices here are extremely high. We have only eaten here once and hesitate to go again due to the high prices and the fact that the food really didn't warrant the cost. The menu said Pork Tenderloin, but what I got was Chops and they were very dry and bland tasting. I will say the Bartender made an awesome Chilled... More

The waitress was very friendly and attentive to the table. I love chicken fried steak and was excited by the reviews I have see here but mine tasted like it was fried in very old grease. The potato soup was very good. I will not be going back though.

I come in here about once a week before visiting the Rialto Theater across the steak. Everything is always good but my personal favorite is the petite filet. Sides: green beans (perfectly paired with bacon & onion) and the garlic mashed potatoes. Just an awesome friendly neighborhood place! We are lucky to have them!

We ate here twice. The steaks are what one expects from cattle country - very tasty. The vegetables were excellent. We even tried the deep fried pickles (not on the menu, but available) and enjoyed these as well. Nice atmosphere. If you are in the area, we would recommend this reasonably priced local.

After reading numerous reviews for restaurants in Port Aransas, thought we might have better results in Aransas Pass. OMG, did you realize there are 14 rated restaurants in Aransas Pass!? That's right, no much to choose from here either, but why not try something new? Besides, we'll get to take the ferry!! Rockin' B "steakhouse"? I think not, at least... More
