The concept is not entirely original. It's a local variant of Freebird's, which is iconic in the college towns throughout Texas. It's like Subway . . . but instead of building bland sandwiches, you're building burritos. You go thru an assembly line that starts with choosing the type and size of tortilla, then choose your ingredients one at at time.... More

This is a popular local take on the build your own monster burrito industry. The food is good, as is the service. My kids love this place and beg to go all the time.

i am a local but not like the girl below, who complained about getting her kids a meal at Taco Bell and that people on I 40 are vegetarian. First of all, this is not a place for that. Go to Eat Rite or a health food place if you want tofu. This is a "Mexican Subway" and most people... More

Burritos are pretty much like other burrito places but unlike chipolte or torchies they don't offer tofu. The majority of Amarillo residents could care less --but on i40 there are vegeterians traveling through & tofu is an easy option. My biggest complaint is the kids meal-for $4.59 your kid gets maybe 12 chips that are way too seasoned for a... More

We haven't eaten at Sharky's in quite a number of years. Don't know why, just fail to stop in or inconvenient from where we are. Well, today we decided to make it to Sharky's for a quick burrito, remembering how good we thought they were in previous years. They did not disappoint! We ordered the Jalepeno cheddar tortilla and had... More

Mostly take out orders so there is a line as you put your Burrito together on the go at the counter.. Noisy but do have outside seating for 4 tables. Burrito's come in 2 sizes big and bigger, Chicken, Steak, Ground Beef and BBQ. Also almost any toppings too many to write here. The Burrito I had was tasty and... More

What else can you say about Sharky's other than it is out of this world. My favorite is the barbacoa with habanero sauce and a touch of bar-b-que sauce. Hope the Shark man comes up with a Ghost Pepper sauce. Seriously, every time I have eaten at Sharky's it has been consistently great. This is a must try place. Yes... More

Ive been to chipoltes and others, but this is the best. I get the barbicoa and hey its awesome. Great selection of toppings and my kids love it. Which helps cause anytime I can get them off the cheese burger is good. The staff, food, and atmosphere is just plain swell. Great selection and a fair price causes me to... More
