Excellent food here. A romantic atmosphere if you ask to be seated in a quiet area. Great wine selection. They have been around many years, and have not lost their appeal or quality. Try the mob quest!

I used to dread the first part of the drive to New Mexico. Was heading for a chain restaurant next to I-40 when we saw this place. What a delightful surprise. The dining room is decorated as the town square of an Italian village. My companions had large vodka martinis, Ahi salad and salmon salad. I had beer and green... More

We had dinner for 10 and this place is great place to kick back and enjoy some wine with friends or a romantic get away. I had the Osso Buco pork shank with mashed potatoes and carrots. It was fantastic with a wonderful rich, rustic sauce. Combined with a great Cab and I found my self eating the whole thing... More

Have been travelling to Amarillo for years & this is always my first choice for dinner. This time I tried the filet, which was excellent. Have also had confetti spaghetti, spicy marinara, seafood cioppino and steak Diane and all were top notch. Service was excellent and prices are reasonable.

I love Mac Joe's! The food is awesome, the wine list is great, & the service is unsurpassed. It is always a great place to go for date night.

I was in Amarillo for a Bridge tournament. Somebody local recommended Macaroni Joes. Three of us went and had three very different dished: steak Diane, Spicy marinara on pasta and ahi tuna salad. All were so good that we returned the next evening and ere not disappointed. The prices are quite reasonable for good quality food.

First off I must say that I picked Macaroni Joes because of the wonderful reviews here in Tripadvisor. The atmosphere is as everyone describes, simply beautiful and nicely done. This was the place that I had picked out to propose to my girlfriend. Our waiter, forgot his name, was wonderful. We started with the Fried Calamari as suggested by the... More

Food is good, but quite pricey for a general meal out. It is a really great place to go for a special night out and they have daily specials. They are supposed to have an extensive selection of wine, but we did not try any. Did not have reservations and did not have to wait very long. Servers are very... More

Loved the feel of a small Italian village. The food was delicious and well prepared. The only warning:if you like white wine by the glass, be sure that it isn't older than 2012 (waiter brought out one from 2006--yuk! So glad I requested a sample and then told the waiter to pour it out). The 2012 Pinot Grigio was good.... More

They may have 450 selections of wine however, they think a lot about it, prices were VERY high. The walnut strawberry salad with chicken was dry, the strawberries were not sweat and there were no walnuts. We asked about the walnuts and the waiter brought us some in a small cup, looked like the bottom of the can. He told... More

sorry to hear your visit was not perfect, for a short time we put the walnuts on the side as people were not noticing them on the menu, which we have included in the name of the item, and we have wine from 5 a glass to 600 a bottle, something for everyone, i will e mail you next time... More
