BIG BURGERS

When feeding a group, try the Family burgers, call a day ahead or at least a couple of hours. The 24" will feed like 16 big adults. For under $100, I feed a group of 10 mechanics and there is always some left over for security, and other areas of the plant. Like 20 people eat off it. And it... read more

Arnolds has traditionally been the best burger in the worst building. The beef for the patties is still the high quality that you have come to expect. Gayla has retired from the kitchen and Perry's spouse is now running the restaurant - so it is still a family affair. They remodeled, repaired, and repainted. Changed everything except the food. Still... More

This place has been around for a very long......missed it when I lived here in the 80's. Serves burgers and a couple of other things like chili. There are 4 tables and 5 stools. Order when yu walk in. This is NOT fast food! We ordered a regular single but did not look at sizes on the wall. It's the... More

Looks like a dump, could be a dump and is a dump, but don't let the looks stop you as the burgers are very good and tasty. It is a small café with about four tables and a few bar stools. Order at the counter and notice they have several sizes for burgers, we got the junior and it was... More

While the building may not be impressive, the food is. They are cheap and good! The staff can be a little off-putting tho. We love the Texas burgers and fried pickles.

After seeing an episode of Man vs Food featuring the Big Texan Steak House in Amarillo where they mentioned Arnold's I decided to stop in on my way out west. It was conveniently located about two blocks off I-40. Not exactly the nicest section of Amarillo but what the hey it was during the day and I felt brave and... More

If you like a good old fashioned hamburger, Arnolds fits the bill! Oh my goodness. The last time I ate at Arnolds was 20 years ago. Don't get to that part of town very often so.....when you're my age.....out of sight....out of mind. So..... We were passing by earlier today and noticed it. My wife has NEVER eaten at Arnold's... Good juicy old fashion burger. Get it to go because the restaurant is a dump! Never look behind the counter because the health dept should close the place....but the burgers are decent!

If you're looking for a fancy restaurant, go somewhere else. But if you're after a GREAT burger, then this is a must stop. No frozen patties, fresh meat and in just about any size you want it. Even Texas shaped buns. I'm not a huge fan of the steak fries they serve, but they were good nonetheless. I prefer the... More

I can't believe I ate in this dump. The place is disgusting and food sucks. New owner isn't friendly at all either.
