Hokey but good

Sure, it is a tourist trap. But fun nevertheless with Old West decorations and serenading cowboys. We both ordered the filet, and it was perfectly cooked and absolutely the best we have had in years. Sides are meh, though the soft white butter-topped rolls are addictive. And the free limo ride from... read more

We expected the food to be excellent from the reviews, but it was not. The service was slow. Grill smoke filled the dining room. Too pricey for what we were finally served.

There's a lot of things there a Motel,Restaurant, and Gift's. I think its just a place to say you've been to. I really would not make a special trip here its really just a tourist trap. The food was okay but a little pricey. I think it would be safe to drive on bye and save your money at this... More

I have read reviews on how this is a big tourist trap. Well it was a trap I enjoyed being in. From the time you pull into the parking till the time you leave. There is something new and different to look at. The walls are lined with all sorts things. Even the walk to the restrooms was a trip.... More

We were there in time for lunch, so of course we had to try it. The BBQ was great and the Chicken Fried steak was large and hot. Service was very attentive. Will go there again.

We had a great wait staff both at bar and in dining. They were top notch with friendliness, service etc. Steak dinner best I've ever had, cooked med rare as ordered and seasoned well. Will go back...and spend more time looking around gift shop and outside buildings. There was a crowd on this Sat night.

No, seriously - it is. I'm not sure if that's a comment of how little there is do actually do in Amarillo or how good this place is, but there you have it. As I told my server during this stay - it's better than any restaurant in my home state. Is it a 5-star gourmet or a Ruth's Chris... More

My husband and I had dinner and a late night margarita in this awesome place. The food was very good and the location just amazing! I highly reccommend it and, if you're brave enough, I encourage you to try to win their 72-oz steak challenge!!! It's really fun!

We stopped in here last week on our way to Nascar race expecting mediocre. Needless to say we were surprised to find the steaks were pretty good for a "tourist trap" and the service was great. We had the lunch special the first time which was a 9 oz ridge with two sides for 14.00 and it hit the spot.... More
