Of course its a unique "Wild West" experience but the food was very, very good. The service could not have better and everything was prepared just right and served promptly. Had a very enjoyable time and price was reasonable. Sure, the place is a getting a little tired and a little cheesy, but being there and actually getting a good... More

My husband and I saw this restaurant featured on the Travel Channel, and we wanted to eat here for ourselves. It didn't disappoint! From the giant steer in the parking lot to the singing cowboy who serenaded us at our table, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The souvenir shop was fun; it offered a variety of items and had some points... More

Tourist trap! I was on a tour bus so maybe you are better off as an individual? All the "prime ribs" were cooked medium rare with no options on that and I like my meats well done. Good salad. They were busing the salad plates before we were ready, busing our din.er plate before we were ready, and busing our... More

Stopped here to see what all the fuss was about, had a blast, there is a large souvenir shop that the wife had to go to first, then we went to the dining room. Had the 10 beer sampler, some nice beers, then ordered 3 appetizers, and ended up being so much food we had to take some back to... More

We've been to BTSR before and it's still delicious, fast and entertaining! Last night a trio of yodeling Cowboys made our steak and loaded baked potatoes even more delectable. Hopefully we'll catch someone taking the 72oz challenge!! We'll definitely be back!

Did not know what to expect, as we were on a road trip from Pennsylvania to California! We had a fabulous time!! Service was outstanding. Absolutely loved the decor and just strolling around and being a tourist! My husband had the prime rib (he is extremely picky) and he LOVED IT!! I had the platter which included some ribs, and... After waiting for over an hour to be seated it was very disappointing to have to wait for more than an hour for our order to arrive. It was gone 9.30 by the time our food arrived and to top it all it was cold! It had obviously been standing for some time, the strange thing was the restaurant was... More

we ate here while staying in Amarillo overnight when we drove Route 66 last month. The whole thing is an experience - from the brightly painted adjoining motel, very large gift shop (which is actually good) & bar - good beers. The restaurant itself is very large - we were seated more or less straight away upstairs on a gallery... More
