Non-descript on the outside but charming on the inside with hardwood floors and high ceilings lined with tin. The food was fantastic. We had the elk tenderloin and it was great - tender and smoky in flavor. The service was attentive and matched the quality of the food.

The atmosphere is good the food was excellent and the service was great. A little off the main highway but well worth the drive.

Just when you begin to wonder where it is...there it is! A tiny "store-front" appearance hides a gem of a restaurant. Small but tastefully decorated. Attentive, friendly and helpful staff from the hostess station to the wait staff. Excellent wine list. Salads are generous in size, and well seasoned. Hubby had the "Fish of the Day" (lightly floured hake, with... More

I've tried repeatedly to understand why this restaurant is so popular in Amarillo, and still don't quite get it. At lunch, you get a cafeteria style set-up with heaps of warmed-in-a-chafing-dish food that is good, not great, but reasonably priced. Since the restaurant is in the downtown business area, it is always extremely packed and tables are hard to come... More

This place would be "average" in any other town, but because Amarillo lacks in the fine ding department, OHMS is pretty much THE place in town for special occasion dinners, etc. Their food is good enough, but they are overpriced for what they serve. The staff is friendly and they have a decent bar. Definitely the nicest atmosphere of anywhere... More

When I first arrived in Amarillo I was surprised about how deserted it was. It took awhile to find a decent restaurant the first night. Our client and hotel clerk recommended OHMS for the second night. It was excellent. Great food. Exceptional wine by the glass (not very common). Service was great. When back in Amarillo would definitely recommend a... More

We are visiting Amarillo and had dinner tonight at OHMS Cafe in downtown Amarillo. I had the special, Arctic Char, which you rarely see in restaurants. The fish was delicious and was served with heavenly mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. My husband ordered the paella which was good, not great. The bar was quiet and cozy and my husband... Excellent food and service, downtown Amarillo. A bit off set from Tyler, we stayed out on I-40 and finally found. We lived in Chicago for 15 yrs. and this place has it.

We went with two friends on a Thursday night after work. The building is non-descript, but when you walk in the door to the bar you will be surprised. It has eclectic decor and paintings by local artists on the walls, different every month. The menu is small, but everything we ordered was remarkable. A lobster and beef pasta was... More

we have an annual routine of driving to Santa Fe and staying overnight in Amarillo. We stay downtown at the Marriott Courtyard which is just perfect and we eat dinner at Ohm's....so I have to say it is really, really a find in this community of mass franchises... we have had in the past thir ribeye but this time we...
