I feel spoiled here.

I always leave here being absolutely stuffed. Their fish dishes make you forget this is a Mexican food place and their enchiladas make you glad that it is. The salsas are good and I love the spinach! The now have tablets at the tables for the kids to play games or the adults to play trivia.

We had a nice dinner here but the server was inexperienced. Our food order was lost. The food, when it came was very good, and they had nice gluten free options. The atmosphere was very nice. The manager was also very helpful. We were passing through on a road trip but I would eat here again, in spite of the... More

The food was fantastic but our server Kelsey was beyond GOLD. We came for Palo Duro Canyon and I think she refilled my husband's water glass about 8 times! Never let it sit. She was nice and a busy bee - It had been so long since we had such a wonderful experience dining out - Thank you Kelsey!!

4 of us dined this eve. Seated promptly even on a Sat. night. Prices reasonable, service very quick and all our meals were excellent. Atmosphere very authentic Mexican. An above average Mexican restaurant.

We ate twice at this restaurant- going and coming home from our trip- The food is great- salsas are yummy and margarita's are fantastic! The service was great and they even saved my husbands glasses that he forgot the first night we were there!!! First night we shared a large plate and it was big enough for 2

Los mejores de la casa is the name of the dish. It is tenderloin and bacon wrapped grilled shrimp served with papas and it is out of this world.. However you can't go wrong with any of their dishes.

The chicken medallions have been over cooked twice now to the point I couldn't eat them. Appetizers take forever to get there. They do have a great selection of margaritas and deserts, but overall it's over priced. Our go to for Mexican food in Amarillo is the Ruby Tequilas on Georgia. Much better priced and better food!

First time visit to an Abuelo's restaurant and it was a favorable experience. Wait staff was very attentive and quick to respond to individual diner's needs. The food was very good, received very hot and was tasty, tasty. Restaurant décor was lavishly south of the border. A nice experience.

This was a dining choice for my family and myself while traveling through Amarillo. We wanted to try authentic Tex-Mex and we we went disappointed! The reviews on Trip Advisor were right on the money about the service (awesome) the food (fantastic with huge portions)!!! Our waitress Kelsea really shows interest in her customers and suggested amazing food choices! We... More
