Not such a find anymore.

I came here to put my first food review down. Saw all the other reviews and said, "thank you!" Me and my husband use to love going to this slightly out of the way establishment. The hot sauce was to die for and they have great green sauce. Friendly staff who remembered I ordered green sause and... read more

We arrived about 45 minutes before closing. Never felt rushed to order or enjoy our meal. Food was good as always and the service was equally as good.

There was once a great restaurant in Amarillo named La Frontera. Under the ownership of Greg and Mary Martinez this restaurant was legendary. The best Mexican food you could find. The restaurant currently named La Frontera has no resemblance to the one built by Greg and Mary. The food is served right out of the refrigerator. Old, cold taco meat.... More

We had not been to this restaurant in awhile. Food was as good as we remember and the hot sauce was very good. Wait staff was attentive with ice tea refills and service. We are going back soon. We are surprised at the poor reviews.

Will not go back to this place EVER! She also has her children all under the age of 13 working until 3am on Friday and... More

We heard good reviews, so we drove across town in freezing rain for a good Mexican meal. However, it was average food in a run-down-looking building at formal-restaurant prices. For example, it was over $7 for one bean chalupa with rice and beans. One! FYI: They don't offer any chicken dishes. The salsa and chips were very good and the... More

I suggest the beef burrito plate the meat is very tender. The beans are amazing and I love the chips and salsa! I am from Amarillo and this is easily the best mexican food in town!
