Got a full rack of ribs from mikes for the first time and they were quite good! Very tender and fell off the bone with ease. Had excellent dry rub that was loaded with taste. Fresh meat. Would definitely recommend the ribs!

Toughest meat I ever eat. Why this place has such good reviews!? Got the 2 meat platter, comes with 3 sides.. Nothing was good in it ( maybe the bread) the brisket was the toughest I ever had, sausage was ok and BBQ sausage was good. I will not come back here It's also overpriced and portions are small

Headed into Amarillo we wanted some Texas beef brisket. After looking thru some reviews & websites we chose Spicy Mike's. We got 1.5 lbs of brisket to go along with some buns. We weren't disappointed! The meat was tender, moist & smokey & a good price. It was worth the slight detour off I40 down to S. Western St to... More

It was very good but not great! Staff was very nice but didn't seem to chatty. Placed my order & had it out in less then 5 minutes. I had the three meat combo plate. I ordered brisket, jalapeño sausage, & ham. The sides were their potato salad, coleslaw, and beans with a buttered toast. All the food was extremely... More

A locally owned spot, very clean, with friendly service. We had the ribs and they were wood smoked and tender. All the sides were fresh and made well too. I live in Amarillo and have tried every BBQ place here. This is the best.

Sliced brisket is some of the best town. Ribs and sausage were good. Sides are ok and nothing different from what you find in most BBQ joints. Very friendly service. Well worth the drive down south western street. I will be back for more.

This little jewel on South Western has some of the best barbeque you will find in Amarillo.Beans and potato salads are my personal fav! Very generous servings with regular or spicy sauce. So tasty you will be asking for the recipe. great bark on the smoked meats. You will be stopping here on a regular basis. Enjoy their combo plates... More

I spent my life in Texas ( north and south) and now live near Memphis, Tn., and have sampled lots of barbecue from those places and Kansas City as well. This is it!!! It's a bit out of the way but worth seeking out for you tourists. A steady stream of locals continuously came in during the enjoyable time that... More
