Not exactly the sushi Capitol of the world, but the food is good to fair. The service at the restaurant clearly forgot about us from time to time. It's a good choice if your looking for sushi down town Amarillo I guess.

I took my wife here for lunch for her birthday and was not disappointed . Great atmosphere and the food was terrific . Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. For a classy place the prices were reasonable . I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner . They have a fabulous lunch special and happy hour

Who would have thought that you would find good sushi in Amarillo, Texas? Rain has got a great selection of sushi and other Asian dishes. It has a full bar and the service was good. The only thing I didn't like about it was the weird smell when you first walked in. Will be back.

This is my favorite place for sushi right now. The "Crunchy Rain" is my favorite roll, judging from how many times I have ordered it. The Nigiri specials at lunch are amazingly value priced. Goes up after 4PM. Rain has been very consistently great. Wait staff and chefs have been very accommodating with special requests. Great sake, beer, and bar... More

My co workers were in Amarillo on business and one of the locals asked us to have dinner here. We all loved it! (party of 8) Louie was our waiter and he was awesome! He even took a group picture of us at the end of dinner. He made great suggestions on the menu and was so funny and cool!... More

Rain is a very unique place. The atmosphere has a very modern urban upper scale vibe to it. The sushi is delicious, I defiantly recommend the hot cheeto maki or the tornado! The entire staff is very good looking as well! But if you want the full best service you can get, I recommend to stay away from eating here... More

We decided to come here for a lunch because all we heard was that Rain is the best sushi restaurant in town and that it is sooo good. So, we wanted to see it for ourselves. We ordered the crunchy rain, tsunami, just to name a few. But honestly, we've had better at Lemon Grass sushi and wok even at... More

If you like sushi, and a very nice, upscale atmosphere, don't miss Rain. Not a huge selection of sushi, but enough variety to suite just about everyone. Very good and quickly served.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Food is okay, but I can get better at other places in town for less and not have to travel all the way downtown. (However, chef needs to be educated on the difference between rice paper and wonton wrappers.) Ordered fatty salmon (sake toro as it was labeled on menu);... More
