The food was marginal at best - we had Baja Fish Tacos and Taco Truck tacos with fajita beef. They were just okay - not up to the rave reviews that prompted our visit. Won't go back and recommend others not go until they fix the fly problem, remove the porta potties from an entrance and move trash dumpster from... More

The hangover burrito and truck tacos were favorites. Stuffed avocado and fajitas good. Service fast and friendly at 2pm.

We eat Mexican food a lot, and Joe Taco has one of my favorites - the El Diablo Burrito. It was removed from the menu, but they still serve it if you ask for it. Be prepared for heat...it varies up and down some, but I always want a backup glass of tea/water, just in case. The salsa and chips... More

If you like your food a little Mexican, this is the place to go, if your in this area. A bit out of the way, but busy, so that should tell you all you need to know. I wish that I could return, but I`m now back in Europe. Sooooo Good, loved it.

We went to Joe Taco because it was right next to our hotel. I had the barrio burrito. It was very good, although, it could have had more sauce on it. The warm chips and salsa were awesome. My girls also enjoyed their meals.

This place is a bit off the beaten path but well worth finding. When I go to a restaurant and it is packed with locals I know I am onto something. They said they often have live music, but not the night we were there, which was fine since it was less crowded and we got to sit on the... More

So, this is my 2nd time it has happened … this is the WORST place to visit during the rush hours … We ordered their David's Special and it was supposed to be chicken. We had told the server 2-3 times to make sure there is no other meat except for chicken (and it was for religious reasons). However, there... More

We were from out of state and stopped at Joe Taco in Amarillo. It was the lunch time and it was very very busy. But our wait was not excessively long and the service we received was very good and from a friendly wait staff. We ordered a variety taco plate, a regular carne asada taco plate, and a stuffed... The Taco stand, as locals call it, is the place to be on a Friday night. Great music, delicious food and a staff that goes out of their way to show customers a good time. They have fresh Margaritas, unique menu items like the Violated Chicken, Stuffed Avocados with a choice meats and sauces, and the Skinny Tacos are NOT... More

Oh yeah! If you have never had a stuffed avocado, you must go to Joe Taco and order one with their cream sauce. Omigosh, I'm drooling just thinking about it!. Absolutely incredible. Everything else here is wonderful too, but those stuffed avocados are what keeps me coming back!
