First, it's a bit embarrassing when Amarillo proclaims that of the top restaurants is a donut shop. This is indeed an excellent chain of donut shops. Best in the world? Sorry, but no. But they are a good work-a-day, easy to get into and out of, reliable and consistent donut chain. And that means a lot if you are looking... More

Stopped for breakfast, like we do in our donut stores in the Dallas area. Surprised they don't have any piggies or breakfast burritos. Settled for an apple fritter that was way to sweet and hot chocolate was mainly water. Very disappointed.

The price was definitely good. I had a cinnamon roll. It was good for the price, but it was not my kind of cinnamon roll. I like them baked rather than fried. The building is very interesting and nice. It was worth going here just to see the building. The value is definitely here.

These are the cheapest donuts I've ever had, but that doesn't mean they're not good. The donuts are light, fresh, and not too greasy. Get there early on the weekends- the line on Sundays was pretty long.

The cake donuts were nasty, but the iced and glazed donuts were okay. The coffee was very weak. I will not be going back.

We have always contended Daylight Donuts makes the best donuts but now have to share that title with the Donut Stop. Perhaps some of the best donuts we have eaten. Don't do the drive thru, go in. The inside was like no other donut shop we have been in with such an awesome variety of donuts, conveyors running through the... More

Vacationing in Amarillo, we chose to have breakfast at the Donut Stop on Route 66. Not only were the donuts well priced (below Dunkin Donuts prices), but the customer service was very welcoming and friendly. When no sprinkle donuts were on the shelf, the woman helping us asked the woman making the donuts to make up three with chocolate frosting... More

Had no idea what to expect when we parked and walked in. We soon figured out this wasn't your ordinary donut store. People in line ahead of use were ordering multiple dozens at a time. When in Rome,do as the Roman... So we ordered a dozen for the three of us. These were the best donuts, fritters and cinnamon rolls... More
