Love love love this place!

I have been to two different locations (not sure how many there are) and have had great experiences at both. The donuts and fritters are made on site and served hot and fresh. They are perfectly priced (about 80 or 90 cents each). We come here every time we drive through Amarillo. We stopped at the... read more

Forget that national chain of overpriced sugar doughnuts, if your near here stop here! Period. Only one other place in the whole state could compete and they are down in Round Rock anyway. The service was above and beyond and the doughnuts are fantastic

Donut Stop has dominated the Amarillo Donut Market for years because of the intense loyalty of the people of the Panhandle and Donut Stops local roots. The donuts are average when they are the very best. Every donut taste the same no matter what you get they all have the same undertone of some ingredient in the batter. It is... More

The donuts were ok, I've had better. But their prices are great, so we stocked up for our trip! Again, donuts were just ok.

I love to go to the location at I-40 & Bell when we're in town. My boys and I can watch them make donuts for over an hour. Everything we've had is a sweet treat; Cherry or Chocolate long johns or regular donut, coconut, maple crunch, blueberry cake, cinnamon roll, maple crunch cinnamon roll. It is knock your teeth out... A quick stop. Ordered a chocolate old fashion donut. Seemed a little dry. Had better although location is right off the freeway. Staff was friendly.

First, it's a bit embarrassing when Amarillo proclaims that of the top restaurants is a donut shop. This is indeed an excellent chain of donut shops. Best in the world? Sorry, but no. But they are a good work-a-day, easy to get into and out of, reliable and consistent donut chain. And that means a lot if you are looking... More

Stopped for breakfast, like we do in our donut stores in the Dallas area. Surprised they don't have any piggies or breakfast burritos. Settled for an apple fritter that was way to sweet and hot chocolate was mainly water. Very disappointed.

The price was definitely good. I had a cinnamon roll. It was good for the price, but it was not my kind of cinnamon roll. I like them baked rather than fried. The building is very interesting and nice. It was worth going here just to see the building. The value is definitely here.

These are the cheapest donuts I've ever had, but that doesn't mean they're not good. The donuts are light, fresh, and not too greasy. Get there early on the weekends- the line on Sundays was pretty long.
