Fun and Tasty

This place is really cute, decorated and themed on old Spaghetti Westerns. The menu items are all named for the stars of those films. I had their frito pie, half with chili and half with pulled pork. The pork side was tasty, but the chili side was AWESOME. So good. I didn't have any gelato... read more

Had a burger with the "Four Horseman" sauce. Not just scald everything it touches hot, but also very very tasty. The fries with the spicy goat cheese and tossed in Frank's were incredible, as are the fried pickles (not your traditional fried pickle, I might add). Cool your palate with a home made very fresh gelato. Awesome place, friendly and... More

We all had Gelato, the food looks and smells amazing but the gelato for sure is. We all got something different and sampled. The waffle cones are made fresh in plain site and the gelato is amazing!! A great 6th ave stop on Rt 66!!

Burgers are so big I have to cut them to eat. Also they have some strange nachos. Not like Mexican nachos. I'm addicted. And a large selection of homemade gelato. Oh yeah the appetizer. Fried green chiles. I'm getting hungry thinking about the place. And the staff is wonderful.

I had the Bronson today, it was delicious it reminds of the Juicy Lucy sandwich. Cheese filled burger with curly seasoned fries, because I am saving room for the gelato. I tried the peach, and mint patty dark chocolate. Both were very good. I will be back to try many of the other selections on this menu. A taco pie... More

This place has something for everyone. The history buff will love that it's on Rt. 66, the carnivore will love the frito pie and the vegetarian will be impressed that they have a portobella burger! They also have some very unique gelato flavors to try (anyone for scotch-bonnet pepper gelato?) The prices are average, and it's withing walking distance of... More

Wow! I've been coming to Amarillo for many, many years. I just found out about this gem of a place (thanks to my son). When I heard the name I went "huh?" I went there on my last trip to Amarillo and lo and behold found a gem! Wowsa! Great burgers and a nice menu. Their Green Chili Bacon Cheeseburger... More

I want something I can't get at home when I'm on vacation, and this place stepped up. I got to try some unique eats and the family got some good old reliable favorites. Everybody was very nice and the portions were huge. Trying to open wide enough to bite into the burgers was the most fun we had all day.... More

These folks are friendly and have developed a great menu! We loved the green chili fries, and the regular fries, spiced but surprisingly not over salted. The burgers: premium fresh cooked. The rest of the menu and the ambience are fun. There's a great barista shop a couple of doors down, and great window shopping if you're in need of... More

Had a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. First stop on a 17 day road trip. The cafe sits on Route 66 therefore there are small shops and cafes nearby. Ordered the hamburger sliders instead of the 1/2 lb. hamburger. It was some of the best charcoaled meat I have ever eaten and being from Ok. that is saying a... More
