We were told by a friend to not stop in Amarillo without eating at Rudy's. Wow, what a treat. It's set up with a gas station in front and the smell of BBQ is wonderful. We both ordered the 1/2 rack baby back ribs & then split one pulled pork sandwich. They sell sides in small containers; I picked the... More

Enjoyed the sliced brisket and jalapeno sausage, very good flavor! Had a side of beans which were good and hearty, not watery! And the potato salad was excellent, just the right touch of mustard! We'll be back!

This was our second stop at Rudy's on our way through Amarillo. Where I always get the ribs my better half gets the pork sandwich. It was just fantastic. Well worth the stop and fairly priced for BBQ in my opinion. Don't forget the banana pudding it's really good. The staff and friendly and helpful. Well worth the stop.

When in Texas, you must have BBQ, right? We're most familiar with KC style BBQ. We enjoyed the food; we just did not enjoy how it was served. Buying by the pound didn't seem an issue until you receive the meat on deli paper and need to cut it. We cut through the deli paper and onto the table cloth.... More

We had never been to Rudy's before so the hostess was happy to give us a run down of how they serve up food. Things are plated by the pound, you purchase sides separately. They have brisket, ribs, turkey, etc. We had brisket sandwiches with potato salad, slaw, and beans on the side. We enjoyed everything except the beans which... More

So i am heading to Phoenix, July 4th week and had to stop at Rudy's for some brisket. I usually get the moist. Since we were in a hurry I got it to go. When I started traveling i determined that i received the lean by mistake. On my next pass thru Amarillo the following week, I stopped in again... More
