This was a great meal. The staff was wonderfully attentive and the food was tasty. I had my usual filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our server, Parker, was excellent. Near the end of the meal our table was visited by Mike Wilson, who chatted with us about our experience and gave us some great dessert recommendations.... More

We shared an app, the beef enbrochette, was very tasty. Both of our meals were good. I had chicken Laredo & thought it was very good. My husband had the ribeye which was tender but undercooked. We were disappointed that they did not offer any local beers. I guess the micro brew craze has not reached Texas? Server was very... More

We usually look for a 'good' place to eat but don't need white tablecloths and sterling when we are traveling. This place seemed a typical choice of a place as we were just 'on our way through town.' We were taken by surprise - it easily exceeded our expectations. The service was way above what was expected in consideration and... More

I started my journey with SG in the late eighties when they opened one in Houston. Through the years I've seen a lot of changes. Although the food is good, the servings aren't really large enough to share and for the price, you would expect so. Still noisy as most are. I view this chain as a family place with... More

Took a group there for lunch. We had soup, salad, hamburger, chicken sandwich and a kids meal in the group. Service was almost too good as you never wanted for drinks, bread, clearing dishes and asking if needed anything. Very enjoyable and relaxing lunch as well as great service and food.

Went through Amarillo a couple of years ago and stopped to eat here on our way to New Mexico. WOW! Quite possibly the best steak either of us had ever eaten. The waiter was right on the money with his recommendation's and service. Not a pest, just good timing. We stopped there again back on the 16th of July and... More

Sat at bar for a solo meal. Friendly, engaging bartender kept the patrons talking and relaxing. Would go back and sit at bar.

We appreciated the greeting and honesty of the wait time to expect when we arrived. We were seated within the mentioned time frame and enjoyed excellent steaks and good wines to accompany our dinner. Our server was efficient and cordial throughout our meal

I have always enjoyed their steaks. You will pay a higher price than at other steak houses. Their coconut shrimp comes with a great dipping sauce that's worth trying. Of course their beer bread and butter rivals Texas Roadhouse. Typically they are packed so make sure to get in before the rest of the crowd shows up.
