Fantastic Chicken Enchilada.........

This small restaurant has a very limited menu. I had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Fresh, and delicious. A buddy had a burrito and he raved about it. The chips and salsa were a disappointment. Would I go back ? You betcha. Do I recommend Alicia's ? You betcha.

We asked at the local supermarket where would be the best place to eat and were told to try Alicia's. We did and wow. This burger is absolutely super. This is cash only and if you have to.....pull out the cushions, look under the seat or take some of your kids lunch money. It's well worth it. The meat was... More

We went there around 6.30pm. We wait for a short period to be notified and told to select any seat. Less than a minute, we were given the menu & our drinks are taken. She need to take care of paying customers & people calling in, so it took her few minutes to come back to us & take our... More

Alicia’s is an unpretentious Mexican restaurant on the south side of Alpine, small and simple in size, large in soul. Their menu caters to local tastes, but includes favorites like hamburgers. I ate here several times on my recent visit to Alpine and the Big Bend region. My favorite dish was their Red Taco Meat Enchilada plate, served with 3... More

My wife and I recently had lunch here. I had heard several people rave about the cheese burger, so naturally that is what I chose. It was served with fresh cut French fries. Excellent. My wife had the Frito pie and liked it as well. The restaurant has been added onto since we last were here. It is still small... More

This place gets my vote for best cheeseburger basket. Cooked the way you like it and great French fries. Don't be in a hurry and enjoy!

Was in town again, and so happy this place is still open! I used to eat here 16 years ago, when living here. It is a total hole in the wall. Very tight, cramped place, but good food. They have great burritos, and breakfast items. We all had their hamburger baskets, and they were very good. The drive thru is... More

Don't let the looks of this resaurant scare you away. Students at the university in town, told us this was THE PLACE to eat. We went for lunch and the food was very good. Service was a bit slow but it seems like a small "mom and pop" place so it didn't surprise us. The burgers are old fashioned and... More

Are one of two (the other being chile rellenos) way we taste test Tex Mex restaurants: they are usually EITHER good or bad. Alicia's we're excellent-- muy Sabroso. Tasty chile- plenty of chicken. Rice and beans. On the other hand, JALIPENOS were just the opposite: could not find any chicken among the non traditional cheese in the enchiladas , though... More

We love the food; we dislike the high prices. Travel to west Texas to enjoy the relaxed pace and friendly people. We do not expect to pay city prices. Overhead in this area does not create higher prices. Owners do. Sorry to be passing on this negative opinion of a much-loved place.
