Where the locals go to do Italian & Pizza; (You can't get into the local Pizza Hut driveway unless you have a 4-wheel drive!) My partner and I went to celebrate her Birthday and it was very nice. Pretty good Chianti for Far West Texas and the pasta was very, very good. We almost filled up on the rolls and... More

A group of us visiting Alpine decided to try this place. Our waitress was very good and attentive. We all orders pizzas.and salad. Our waitress brought us homemade sourdough bread that was delicious to go with our salad. The Cesar salad was good without a lot of dressing. We are ordered different kinds of pizza. The medium size 12" and... More

Interesting choices for lunch; we had a gyro sandwich and a stir fry salad (sautéed veggies over spinach). Both very good, but even better was the peach/mango smoothie - just frozen fruits and vanilla yogurt - nothing artificial.

We stayed in the Alpine area for Spring Break and were very happy to discover La Trattoria. It is a hidden gem of a restaurant in a wonderful small, west Texas city. The food was delicious and the service superb. Great place to stop with your family!

This Italian restaurant is a great place to eat in Alpine. We live in Alpine, and love to see new restaurants that offer great food. The ambiance isn't superb, but the décor is rather plain. Everything is clean and scrubbed. There are two areas in which to eat, and we've eaten in both. It's very casual, but the food taste... More

A wonderful surprise. The first time I visited, I was just cruising the town, looking for something other than fast food or BBQ. The staff were friendly, service was great. Dinner was delightful with recommended wine delicious. During my two week stay in the area, I went back several times. Each time was a special treat. Each meal, superb.

The food was okay but service was a little slow. We think maybe they weren't expecting many dinners that night. They had recently had a loss of power in the area due to a winter blast. The bread was wonderful and the homemade Ravioli was very good.

The restaurant was very busy when we dropped in. We were seated quickly and orders taken and served in a timely manner which was important since we needed to be on the road. Food was very tasty and the meatball sandwich was a hit.

Very busy, because it's really GOOD. We were lucky there were only two of us because we didn't have a reservation. The waitresses are hopping all the time and there are even people sitting outside waiting for a table. We thought the food was out of this world good and the prices were very reasonable.
