La Trattoria in Alpine provides a refreshing fare and produces great plates! It's nice, as a West Texan, to be able to find good Italian w/o the 300 mile trip to a franchise. This is my 7th time to dine, and the owner, Stephanie Sepulveda, has an excellent crew. Pizza, pasta, chicken Parmesan were the particular dishes we ordered. I've... More

Took 10 minutes for someone to clean off one of the several empty tables so that we could sit down, then after a few minutes we finally got menus and then waited and waited and waited, finally we just got up and left, what a terrible excuse for service. We definitely will not be back!!!!!!

We went to this restaurant while in Alpine because we couldn't find anyplace else to celebrate my husband's birthday. When we first walked in we were surprised by the plastic chairs and dingy appearance. They put us at a table that was dusty and near the dirty windows. We had to wait long for our meal and when it came... More

the pizza was very good. Pasta ran a little pricey. Lasagna was $15. Service was just a little slow but very friendly.

It's not Carrabba's, but this is Alpine. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant enough. I always drop in, when I'm in Alpine. It's a nice place.

This restaurant really servs very good Italian food. We ate both a pasta and they were delicious. We have been in Italy a lot, so we can compare. The ingredients are good and the taste is subtle as it should be. The service is very friedly and attentive.

While we had good food here we were very disappointed in the atmosphere. We sat on plastic chairs, had no table cloth, shared a large Caesar salad had Sausage Ravioli, Stuffed Flounder, 1 beer, 2 wines, & the first basket of rolls had some burnt bottoms. Service was acceptable & pleasant. Bill was $65 & we could have eaten @... More

We dine here often, as a couple, and as a family. Salads and sandwiches are our favorites at lunchtime, and there is always a tasty special (try the chicken Cesar pita!). Dinner is when you can find all the pastas. My son and I love their cheese ravioli (good with marinara and excellent with basil cream pesto), and my other... More

Where the locals go to do Italian & Pizza; (You can't get into the local Pizza Hut driveway unless you have a 4-wheel drive!) My partner and I went to celebrate her Birthday and it was very nice. Pretty good Chianti for Far West Texas and the pasta was very, very good. We almost filled up on the rolls and... More
