Good sandwiches

We stopped for lunch and ordered sandwiches. I didn't want the special of the day (Reuben sandwich) but I requested my turkey sandwich on rye bread and was told my only choices were white and wheat bread. I don't know why they couldn't make my sandwich on the rye bread I saw others eating on... read more

The food wasn't awful; it just wasn't good. Prefab redesigned to look homemade. Only 2 pastas: penne and linguine. Cheese bread came pretty, but it was raw in the middle. The napkins smelled so much like laundry soap, I could taste it. For traveling through, I would pass it up. Spent too much.

As an Italian decent,I felt I was enjoying a truly delicious authentic Italian cuisine. The dinner was a truly excellent experience. Restaurant has a great atmosphere very good wine selection. Staff very friendly and great services.

Pretty amazing place for Alpine. Salad had great fresh greens, sauces tasted very fresh, portions were big, service was fast, prices are reasonable. I found it was everything I wanted in a place to eat this evening.

The food here is still good and most is as authentic as it used to be under former chef owner. The pizza is still the best in Alpine despite some occasional disappointment with the quality of the dough - doesn't seem homemade anymore - but it is properly topped, not overloaded. On one occasion we were disappointed with the Margherita... More

Pizza horrible. Like a old dried up cracker. They need to go online to King Arthur flours and find a new recipe.Maybe they don't care.I don't care for the scrimpy salad either.Paid too much for too little.

Tasty veggie pita. My husband liked mine so much I almost ordered another one for him! The veggies were roasted and combined with chipotle goat cheese spread on the whole grain pita. I think I will try this little recipe at home!

It was busy, so someone liked this place. My food was nearly cold and was served without bread which is unusual. We asked for bread when the waitress finally came around and she seemed unsettled at that request, then told us the bread was in the oven. She brought us two tiny buns when we had already completed our meal.... More

This has always been one of my go to restaurants when I visit Alpine but this time the food was OK but not outstanding. It is still good but just not the same.

Food was delicious, service with a smile. I had pasta with pesto cream sauce and Italian sausage, which was the special. My husband had pizza. We both had the leftovers for breakfast, which was a satisfying start to our day. My sausage was a little overcooked and dry, but otherwise tasty.
