The absolutely delicious dishes that are served here have made this restaurant a favorite! I even bought a cookbook that has many of their fantastic recipes, so I can enjoy their food at home as well. Love going here for a romantic evening with my husband! Never disappointed!

The hotel we stayed at sent us to Reata and we were so glad they did! The restaurant is full of Texas charm and our food was fabulous. We are vegetarians and gluten free and we managed to stuff ourselves on soup and salad and the lovely veggie plate. We even had to take a box home with us. We... More

We recently dined at Reatta in Alpine while in the area to visit Big Bend NP. Given the size of Alpine & the dearth of dining establishments, my expectations were not very high. However we were thrilled with our meals here. We started out with the tenderloin tamales with the pecan mash which was out of this world. We followed... More

It started with my buddy and I wanting a beer/glass-of-wine. There is no drink "menu" and we were immediately seated near the front, so seeing "if" they had a bar/adult beverages wasn't an option. When our waitress asked what we wanted to drink, my friend asked, "well, what do you have?" Easy right? And she replies with, "We have soft... More

Went to Alpine on a day trip, mainly to eat at The Reata. It is well worth the drive. Perfect time of year the wildflowers are blooming and it was a beautiful 65 degrees. We sat on the patio under and enjoyed the beautiful murals. We had a wonderful waitress, Austin. She was able to give us the history of... More

We ordered a double pork chop to share, it was two thin cutlets only one with a bone. OK food for Alpine, there were not many choices of good restaurants in Alpine.

Lunch at the Reata had a packed crowd but service was fast. I had the chicken salad with fresh veggies and chunk fried chicken. If you like grits, they have them!
