I had a standard eggs plus breakfast, which was tasty and filling. Service was pleasant but slow and inept. The cinnamon rolls are terrific.

We stayed at a nearby hotel which offered a truly inedible breakfast - we threw it away three days in a row. We went a few steps up the street to Judy's. It's hard to give any place 5 stars for breakfast - after all, what are you ranking, eggs? No, in this case you're ranking a first-class bakery which... More

We stopped in on a whim for breakfast on our way to Big Bend. The bacon and eggs were cooked perfectly. The biscuits and gravy were good, but the sweet cinnamon roll was wonderful. Service was slow, but every table was full and we saw only 4 employees. The breakfast was great as well as the local people watching.

We just left, after waiting 40 minutes for two sandwiches that never appeared. When we walked in the door at 10:50 am, we were told by the seated waitress that "we're not serving breakfast, it's lunch". OK. We ordered two sandwiches from the lunch menu and waited. And waited. There were 2-3 wait staff and 4 kitchen staff. About 8... More

Picked up cinnamon rolls on our way out of town. Wish we had found this place earlier. We will be back.

Breakfast is not served after noon, so we decided to eat here for lunch. Service was slow and my food was poor. I ordered the BLTA, but the bacon was fatty and limp, so I tore what little meat I could off of it. I realized they forgot the avocado, so I waited for a side of that to be... More

Good breakfast. The whole grain toast is outstanding. One review recommended the cinnamon rolls, but if you have one pastry, I recommend the sticky bread.

My husband and I went here for breakfast during our week in Alpine at the beginning of June. Our food was good when it finally came. Little did we know that there would be a 20 minute wait for our to-go order of a burrito for our teen son who had slept in. We had even ordered it at the... More

We decided to wait for breakfast until we got to Alpine so we were hungry. We found Judy's through tripadvisor and found it right in the heart, or should I say belly, of town. About a third of the 20 odd tables were filled midmorning and mostly with locals which is always a good sign. The young woman who brought... More

We have been to this restaurant a couple of times in the past and had a decent experience. This morning, however, that was not the case. We arrived for breakfast about 920 am. It took a few minutes for the one waitress to come take our order. Another guest had arrived just before us and she had just taken his... More
