sort of limited menu

food was pretty good for small town Texas, but not a lot of choices. Noisy place. There's a saddle chair that you can sit on.

We were driving around Downtown Alpine tonight desperate for an alternative to the usual strip fodder when I half-glimpsed a welcoming neon sign in the distance. We had a wander across and we're delighted to find one of the most imaginative menus I've seen in over twelve months, a fine collection of craft beers and food that more than delivers... More

We had the Mexican Meatloaf Sliders. They were absolutely awesome. Not just "bar food", this is an excellent place to eat. Will return.

Dining options in Alpine are limited but this one was a pleasant surprise. We got there late, food is fresh so limited choices but they did have the quail. Friendly staff and good bar. Would do it again.

It may be a "tapas bar" but don't let that fool you. Some selection was great but the Mexican sliders were to die for. A jewel of West Texas. Try it! You will like it guaranteed.

Took 30 minutes for them to take drink order. I had water and the waitress insulted me for not drinking alcohol. Then another 45 minute wait for her to take our food order. We waited another hour and a half and yet still no food. Now you have to remember they only have 8 items on their menu. 3 we're... More

Don't come hungry the food is over priced and super salty!!!! Good local brews and very sub par service. Fine for just a beer, but do not eat anything here. We were very disappointed.

Place was very small with few tables. Upstairs was closed on Friday evening. Ordered XX beer, they brought out one dried out slice of lime, no salt. Asked for salt twice, they ignored the requests. Had to wait over an hour for our meal. Epic fries were an epic mess. Soggy fries, salty tasteless cheese, cold shredded beef on top.... More

relaxing atmosphere, experienced staff and bartender who know how to make a gret margarrita... hors d'oeuvre that are not common for a West Texas Town and friday night steak night that will compete with the big dogs...
