We went here for lunch after reading the reviews and it did not disappoint! It is a very cool, charming place right in downtown. I used to live in Alpine as a little girl, so it is fun to visit. The bartender was awesome as was our server. The food was delicious, I had the hamburger special of the day... More

We enjoyed the atmosphere at this place. We felt like a lot of guests were local. The furnishings are authentic and interesting. The food was good. Not too much, just good. A good place in a small town. We were glad we went there.

Great selection of beer and good food. Theme specials. Nice atmosphere. A place to relax and enjoy a cold beer. Food choices are good, too!

We ate here our first night in Alpine. The atmosphere is something right out of a John Wayne movie..fun and inviting! A good beer selection! The menu is not very big and not much to choose from. My son got the Epic Fries---EPIC! My husband and I both got the Salmon dish....It was very good but there wasn't much on... More

I grew up visiting Alpine and all I can say is WOW this place was needed. It is the perfect addition to the town and one of my favorite bars in the country... which is saying something since I live in "Beer City USA". I absolutely love the atmosphere, decor, and service. The drink menu is awesome and so are... More

We stopped here for dinner as we wanted a lighter meal and reviews were good. We shared a gazpacho, which is a huge serving and it was fresh and good. My husband got the lettuce wraps were great. The portion was generous. I had the salmon and crab cake but they had sat on the grill too long and the... More

Upscale for Alpine. Friendly servers and above average bar food. Nice open environment. Fair liquor and food prices.

Spencer was our waiter. He was pleasant and is a student at Sul Ross. The bar is frequented by many locals, but is known for its food. The menu features tapas, but portions are large enough to be entrees. The salmon was excellent, but was accompanied by jalapeno crab cake that was even better. The local brewed Bid Bend beer... More

Stopped here on a family vacation . . . limited bar menu, but all items were very good. We had the Epic fries, a steak hoagie, the chicken/lettuce roll-ups, and the salad with lump crab. All were surprisingly fresh and delicious. My teenage son couldn't find anything he would eat (he went down the street and had a hot dog).... More
