Cow Dogs is a unique food truck in a unique part of west TX. They offer a large selection of gourmet hot dogs, tater flops, and Frito Pie plus chips and drinks out of a 1970's light blue Winnebago. You can select your own toppings or select from one of their specialty dogs. I had their Green Chili Cheese Dog... More

My husband had the Mexican Dog, I had the Street Dog. Both were really good! They split the dog down the middle and grill it a bit then they have all types of toppings and some "signature" dogs. We really liked it!

After you have eaten at Cow Dog, you will definitely know why it is ranked #1. Every Dog we have tried has been soo good. Dogs come loaded so be sure to take the extra napkins and offered knife and fork, unless that is you like your lunch dripping down your chin. Lunches are served on paper foil, so my... More

The kids and I loved our food! They enjoyed eating outside and just the experience. But the cow dogs were delicious! There was quite a line when we were there, but it did not take to long to be served.

I agree with those who have loved their Cow Dog experience. I had the Artisan--fabulous chutney and Tilamook sharp cheddar. A note for those traveling with pets: this is a food truck, but it shares a pleasant patio area with tables. You can enjoy your lunch in the shade with your pet. Advice: the "little" size was plenty.

You haven't had a hotdog till you eat one of theirs. :) I never dreamed you could enjoy a hotdog from a vending truck SOOO much. I listened to the locals and tried their Mexican Dog. What's not to like? Bacon, cheese, & salsa...yum!! But be sure to check out the website for days and hours of operation because it's... More

Great hot dogs. Lots of inventive ways of fixing them. Loved it! Watched the train station arrivals and departures for entertainment.

My first Cowdog was so good I went back later the same day for another. Truly one of the best hot dogs I've ever had. I don't live close, but if I'm ever within an hour, it's worth the drive.

We purposefully postponed our departure time so we could eat at Cow Dog and we were NOT disappointed. Truly some great hot dogs. I enjoyed the Artisan, which had some wonderful chutney and sharp cheddar cheese for a tasty delight, and hubby had a wildly good chili cheese dog, large sized. They do something special to the hot dogs, we... More

OK, this was the best hot dog I've ever had! I had the mexican when I was there. They have 2 sizes, 1 was $4 and the larger was $5.50. We spent $26 for 3 people, so it wasn't exactly cheap. We wanted to eat there a 2nd time while we were in town for 5 days, but the price... More
