Sadly they had to close. Before closing they had excellent burgers. A little dark on the inside for my taste but not bad. The wait staff while young was pretty good.

There are no traffic lights in Alpine, Texas. We have only two blinking red lights located at four way stop intersections. I can't evaluate this restaurant since we haven't been back for more than three years. Walking through a very smokey bar to get to the restaurant turned me off entirely. The average rating and date of visit are bogus... More

good food, pricey but worth it, great staff, and 'Real" cowboys, spurs and all. Drinks were tasty too.

We drove past this place once and missed it, the building and signage don't stand out too well. The restaurant was very dark inside, and because we were eating a late lunch, there were only a few other people eating when we were seated. Our waitress was very friendly, and the burgers we ordered were hot and tasty (we ordered... More

The décor is old country, kinda dark, but mom in law liked it. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is good and we took home doggy bags. Very good steak, nachos, fetticini, salads and chicken strips.

I upgraded to the bison burger. Juicy, tasty and hit the spot. Fries are handout, nice and salty and spoof good. Best kept secret in Alpine.

The food in this restaurant was great, but the service was really not outstanding. We ordered steaks and were very happy with the way they were cooked.

I was part of a group that came into the Buffalo Rose Saloon to grab a bite to eat on our way to our final destination. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were not greeted just asked "how many" we said 16 and the lady told us that they could not seat us all together. I replied... More

We were told by the employees at the front desk of our hotel to eat at this restaurant next door so we tried it. When we went in it was somewhat dark and there were no other customers. When we ordered I ordered a hamburger and asked that they not give me the bun. She suggested I order the hamburger... More

The building is a run down little place with no windows. Once inside, locals are eating, drinking, and watching sports. I had a really good burger with hand cut fries. My buddy had grilled chicken, baked potato, and green beans. The burger was avg price but chicken was high. Unfortunately, we had a horrible waiter. No tea refills and general... More
