Best Buffet for miles

This place isn't anything super special. I mean it's a Chinese buffet but what I will say is it is clean, fresh, and tasty. It's one of the better Chinese buffets I've been to in a while. It's smaller but the selections aren't all fried and they are all really god and fresh. There is a guy making... read more

The restaurant looked quaint on the outside. Inside it was grimy (especially the bathrooms) and was unusually hot, in a bad way - a dirty, fetid, swampy heat. Food was edible, and selection was scarce. The fried rice was bad. Avoid this place.

Been to a bunch of chinnese restaurants all over this country this one by far has been the worse one I have ever ate at. Soup was awful, the fried rice had a really bad taste, ect ect

Lots of variety and good price for a filling and tasty dinner. Seemed to have a younger crowd there. Best crab Rangoon I have ever had. Also good kimchee.

The food here was ok, definitely nothing to write home about. I took my daughter to the bathroom and thought I was going to lose my food. Very nasty. Will not be going back to this facility!

Discovered I had strep half way out to Big Bend, and determined to continue the trip. Alpine was our only scheduled stop before the wilderness, and I needed soup! All of the mexican restaurants were closed by 8:30, but Panda Buffet had a great chinese vegetable soup, and even gave me a large to go cup filled with honey for... More

Went here for lunch. Typical buffet you would expect in any college town. And since Alpine is a small college town, it is on par with what we expected.

Go for another cuisine when in Alpine. You have lots of good choices. This buffet was on the bland side.

This a typical Chinese buffet with a little less variety than your typical big-city Chinese eatery. Still it provided a chance to eat some veggies in this beef-heavy region.
