Lots of variety and good price for a filling and tasty dinner. Seemed to have a younger crowd there. Best crab Rangoon I have ever had. Also good kimchee.

The food here was ok, definitely nothing to write home about. I took my daughter to the bathroom and thought I was going to lose my food. Very nasty. Will not be going back to this facility!

Discovered I had strep half way out to Big Bend, and determined to continue the trip. Alpine was our only scheduled stop before the wilderness, and I needed soup! All of the mexican restaurants were closed by 8:30, but Panda Buffet had a great chinese vegetable soup, and even gave me a large to go cup filled with honey for... More

Went here for lunch. Typical buffet you would expect in any college town. And since Alpine is a small college town, it is on par with what we expected.

Go for another cuisine when in Alpine. You have lots of good choices. This buffet was on the bland side.

This a typical Chinese buffet with a little less variety than your typical big-city Chinese eatery. Still it provided a chance to eat some veggies in this beef-heavy region.

Apparently, you have slim picken for dining options on a Sunday in Alpine. We thought Panda would be a quick and easy option. We were wrong. The buffet was horrible. They kept saying they were going to bring out more food, never happened. We filled up on rice and icecream.

My husband and I ate here for a late lunch one Saturday afternoon because it was the only thing we could find that was open. Big mistake! The food was awful. Normally we like Chinese buffets, but this is the worst we have ever had. The lo mein was inedible. It tasted like cardboard soaked in chemicals. The best thing... More

Since it is 85 miles from the ranch to town, something different than ranch food is so welcome for our every other week visit. Panda's Chinese buffet offers that break. We find the food quite tastyand very appetizing. in short we really like it. the selection is not large, but there are the usual dishes one would expect, including fresh... More
