Breakfast

Been visiting Alpine and stopped by for breakfast. It opens at 06:00, which is great, since so early there was not much open on a Saturday. The eggs were good and service great. Recommend to try it if you are in the area.

Great juevos rancheros, good coffee and tortillas. My choice for breakfast when in Alpine. Many locals always there. Service is normally good. Sometimes they get overwhelmed w customers but do a great job regardless

Magoo's is a pretty good local greasy spoon. Breakfast and lunch has an ample menu. The pancakes and catfish plate are the best menu items. Magoo's closes at 2 after lunch time. The only issue with Magoo's is that the coffee is horrible. They use instant. You're better off with iced tea or water.

Magoo's seems to be the place where the locals eat in Alpine. It was packed every morning we were in town during a weekend. There's nothing fancy with this place, which is A-ok with me. Great breakfast selection with a no-frills, basic approach. Quality ingredients and a good breakfast.

Standard breakfast items as well as Texmex offerings. Casual clean diner style restaurant. Friendly attentive wait staff. Good prices!

We were in the Alpine/Marfa area for a long weekend, and this is the only restaurant we went to more than once. I would go back all the time if I could! It's nothing fancy to look at, but the locals love it and it's packed on Saturdays. Service was a little overwhelmed during the rush, but always friendly and... More

Four of us enjoyed breakfast at Magoo's Place on the advice of the hosts at Lost Alaskan RV Park. They told us the pancakes were delicious and they were. Bacon and eggs were very good as well! Try Magoo's Place if you are in the area.

Nice little local place..very busy. A lot of food for the price. Good service and pretty quick for how busy they were. Food was good but there isn't any special draw like homemade bread or anything.
