My wife and I are in Alpine 2-3 times a year and Magoo's is our regular breakfast stop. Food is great. Mexican or straight American. ..take your choice. In my opinion, green chiles improve any meal . It can get a bit crowded at times, but Magoo's can handle it. If your coffee cup runs dry and the waitstaff is... More

Was told by a local that they had the best burgers in town, and yes, they are really good. I gave it four stars, not five, because it was too hot inside. They only had a window ac unit, and my son and I set as close as we could to it. We were there in August, so it was... More

We had hearty breakfasts all around at Magoo's. The wait staff was very nice and the prices are reasonable.

Standard but satisfying eggs plus breakfast. Everyone said I should go for their lunch burgers, but I couldn't make it.

Had a nice hamburger here. Chose this place because the parking lot was full of pickup trucks. The place was full of locals and the cowboy hat assortment on the local cowboys was quite interesting. All but one table was full when we walked in and the plates on each table looked really good. Fast & friendly service, too

It was a delicious Sunday brunch.... the staff was friendly..... worse thing about this place is finding parking... but when it's good the parking lot is going to be full :-)

We looked on trip advisor for a place to eat in Alpine, this place was great. They only serve breakfast on the weekends. We arrived at 11:00 am. The place was busy but had great service and tasty food. We got our food right away. Friendly staff.

Small family operation, staff was the friendliest people we met in town. Lots of smiles and very attentive.

This tiny place is mainly a breakfast joint for Alpine locals and students from Sol Ross University. We found the breakfast quite good and actually thought it was better than Judy's Bakery & Breakfast. Friendly service. Good mix of American & Mexican. Fair prices. Would return. Closes early in the day.

On our last full day in Alpine, we joined friends at this restaurant for lunch. Out of the four of us, I was the only one who had a burger. It was one of the best I'd ever had and came with fries. The rest of the group had Mexican food and they thought it was very good, too. The... More
