We looked on trip advisor for a place to eat in Alpine, this place was great. They only serve breakfast on the weekends. We arrived at 11:00 am. The place was busy but had great service and tasty food. We got our food right away. Friendly staff.

Small family operation, staff was the friendliest people we met in town. Lots of smiles and very attentive.

This tiny place is mainly a breakfast joint for Alpine locals and students from Sol Ross University. We found the breakfast quite good and actually thought it was better than Judy's Bakery & Breakfast. Friendly service. Good mix of American & Mexican. Fair prices. Would return. Closes early in the day.

On our last full day in Alpine, we joined friends at this restaurant for lunch. Out of the four of us, I was the only one who had a burger. It was one of the best I'd ever had and came with fries. The rest of the group had Mexican food and they thought it was very good, too. The... More

Definitely a local favorite...and now mine too! Always crowded for breakfast. On the weekends expect to share a table with new found friends. It's possible to drive past this hidden gem which sits back off Rt 90 opposite of McDonalds but don't. Huge breakfast portions served fast with friendly wait staff. On our last visit we surprised our Grandson by... More

I am use to eating GOOD mexican food in East and South Austin. I was not expecting much from this little dive. However, I had one of the best mexican breakfast plates ever while eating at Magoos. EAT AT MAGOOS you won't be disapointed.

Was here for lunch and had a cheeseburger. It was delicious. It was perfectly cooked & the fries that came with it were also delish. Service was fast and friendly & they offer gigantic fountain drinks. So if you're in Alpine looking for a place to grab some lunch, don't hesitate. Highly recommend.

This place is always packed so we decided to try it. The food is very good. I had eggs, bacon potatoes and toast and everything was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were fresh, not out of a bag. The eggs were cooked properly, not too runny, and the bacon was crisp and not greasy. Unfortunately, they were already out of biscuits... More
