Good Breakfast

Four of us enjoyed breakfast at Magoo's Place on the advice of the hosts at Lost Alaskan RV Park. They told us the pancakes were delicious and they were. Bacon and eggs were very good as well! Try Magoo's Place if you are in the area.

Nice little local place..very busy. A lot of food for the price. Good service and pretty quick for how busy they were. Food was good but there isn't any special draw like homemade bread or anything.

Really good chicken fried steak, fried were kind of greasy. Service was good, not at all crowded. We enjoyed our stay in Alpine and were looking forward to eating here.

We ate here for breakfast Tuesday and for lunch on Wednesday. Both were great meals for our party of 5. Flavorful chorizo and not greasy at all. Great BLTs and the tacos were rated "very good" from our taco expert. The coffee was very good and service was quick and helpful. They do stop serving breakfast at 11 and won't... More

Our favorite eating place in Alpine during a recent 3 day trip. Had both lunch and breakfast there. The hamburgers are very good. Think large, flavorful old style diner hamburger but not greasy. All for only $4. The breakfast was equally good and also a good value for the money. Both times the service was very good as well. Will... More

We asked a local and this is where they recommended for breakfast. Hot and fast and friendly. Pancakes were really good! Plates came with enough food to split.

We were driving around the area and at lunch time plugged in Restaurants in to the GPS and Magoo’s popped up.   We stopped in and immediately saw the place packed with local workers and townsfolk.  It seemed that the waitresses knew everyone.   The menu was half Mexican and half Burgers and sandwiches.  My wife ordered a BLT  and...
