Great local "greasy spoon" cafe. Don't misunderstand, the food wasn't greasy! It's like a cross between your all American breakfast diner and a TexMex place. And it was very good. Food: I got the burrito and it was very good. Bacon, sausage, eggs, potato, and more that I'm sure I'm forgetting. Very tasty and a good portion. My wife got... More

this is the best place for breakfast in town. It is always busy. The huevos rancheros is the best in town. the 2nd best is the breakfast taco. Their salsa is absolutely the best!

Great food, friendly staff, very enjoyable. Cross section of Alpine residents eat here. Very busy but we were waited on right away.

we spent two days in alpine, and had breakfast here both days. nothing fancy, but if you like a good breakfast at a "locals place", you will like magoo's. friendly efficient staff, but they can get very busy. everybody knew each other.

The flavor of the food was good, but the items were dripping in grease. My wife had the hamburger. The taste was good, but the bun soaked through in minutes. The French fries were limp and dripping in grease. My chicken fried steak was overcooked, but would have been pretty good if not left in the cooker too long. This... More

Great juevos rancheros, good coffee and tortillas. My choice for breakfast when in Alpine. Many locals always there. Service is normally good. Sometimes they get overwhelmed w customers but do a great job regardless

Been visiting Alpine and stopped by for breakfast. It opens at 06:00, which is great, since so early there was not much open on a Saturday. The eggs were good and service great. Recommend to try it if you are in the area.
