This place is very casual, and the food isn't bad at all. It's not great food, but it is better than most bar/grill places. I think the I-10 location is better...it feels bigger and the pool table and bar area are pretty cool. I think they have live music sometimes on weekends, as well.

Went to restroom and the smell was really bad. Paid $33.00 for three sandwiches. The wait staff was texting instead of working. And all I could think of was the show bar rescue

Tried this place for a business lunch. Tried the burger basket. I had the burger with bleu cheese and it was excellent, and is served on an interesting rectangular bun. The basket comes with fries which I'd have to rate as fairly average. The service was pleasant and efficient. The background music just soft enough to be able to talk... More

This is a bbq place with loud music, which is great for some visits - but I took two business acquaintences out for dinner and this was definitely not the ideal place. The food was ok. This is a BBQ and hamburger kind of place and that's what they have.

My girl friend and I visited the one closer to downtown and liked it more than the one on the Northside. Big, good old fashioned burgers named after Tarentino movie characters/movies etc. Nice 50's style place with cold beer.

If you like huge old fashion burgers and cold beer on tap, this is the place for you. They also serve delicious fried mushrooms and chicken diablo appetizers. Good service to boot. Casual dining, reasonable prices in the heart of Alamo Heights. Enjoy.

We went to watch a Spurs playoff game and the first thing we noticed when we walked in and were seated was that it was hot and stuffy in their. When the waitress approached us, she even had a little sweat going. We asked her to notify the manager but she assured us that it would cool off once the... More

Good food with live music on weekends. This spot is a little addictive. It's a bit of a hangout for the IWU and Trinity College kids, but also for 30 somethings who like good drinks and music. The whole place has a Quentin Tarantino vibe from the "Pulp Fiction" and "Reservoir Dogs" posters on the wall to the Vincent Vega... More

The 50/50 has been around for ages and has changed hands several times, and "the old gray mare, she ain't what she used to be." You can eat here, and we sometimes do, but if the kitchen is no cleaner than the rest of the bar, you can't help but think twice. The prices are reasonable, and the pool table... More
