Went there for a late lunch / early dinner today and once again I left there saying, "never again". The food is just average and for the what they charge I would expect more. I will add one positive note - the baked potatoes are delish. Of course, they told our party of 9 that they ran out of potatoes... More

My department at work did a team lunch at this location today, 9/10/14, and we had a great experience. We had a group of 18 and although we were not able to all be seated together at one big table, everything worked out great. Cheyenne was our server and she as polite, very knowledgeable of the menu, quick to keep... More

I have found the food here to be good, not great. Service is sketchy, sometimes pretty good sometimes barely fair. Atmosphere....is "worn out shack". Very noisy at night, moderate to loud midday crowd. Go at night if you don't want to talk, the bar is very lively.

I had the Salmon which was cooked perfectly. I loved that we didn't have to break the bank to have good quality food, the food was reasonably priced. Good friendly atmosphere.

this is an old established restaurant that used to be very good; however after going there for dinner recently i could not recommend it. first, the place has not been remodeled or upgraded in years! menus were worn and soiled. the men's room was gross!! the seafood was bland and it tasted like it was frozen. the prices are high... We were out wandering through Addison for something to eat and decided to stop in. Right off, I noticed the New Orleans memorablia and felt like home. The food was very good. The fried mushrooms were great! I had the Grilled Redfish Ponchartrain and my wife wasn't dissappointed in the least by the shrimp po-boy! Needless to say, we shall... More

Had lunch here, overall experience was good food good service. I am not a fan of their house Italian dressing but they kindly replaced it. I had the seafood salad my colleague had a poboy.

I've enjoyed several dinners at Nate's during my visits to the area. The oysters, both on the half shell and breaded/fried have always been delicious. The various toppings or sauces for the seafood are interesting and very good. The Italian dressing for the salad is a house specialty. The menu has many options and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere... More

If you like seafood with a Cajun flavor you have to visit Nates. An Addison standby for decades. Atmosphere is casual and the bar scene at both lunch and after work is worth the visit.

This is a good choice for a casual, reasonably priced lunch in an area of over-priced restaurants. We both had the catfish and it was very good. The diners near us had ordered the seafood platters which looked delicious.
