Okay. They moved locations. They are on a side street off the Tollway in Addison. THey are in a HUGE space made even bigger and used to be occupied by a pretty good but quickly closed OUNCE steakhouse. This place reminds me a bit of Manuel's in Austin. Good to very good and a bit upscale. Those Crab and Shrimp... More

We came on a particularly busy afternoon apparently. We stood in line for a table for 10 minutes without seeing a host. We finally just sat ourselves at a table where some people were leaving. They said they had been there for an hour and hadn't seen a service and were going to the bar. Well.. nothing different when we... More

The food was good, as usual. However, my water glass had something floating in it. When I alerted our server, she said, oh, it looks like a piece of paper from a straw. (There was no straw) She brought me another glass of water. The glass felt gritty and looked filmy, like it was not cleaned very well. The server... More

First, let me just say this is one of my all time favorite restaurants ever, so I will probably be returning anyway. . . The place has moved across the street to new digs so I took a friend from out of town there for lunch. After ordering my beloved Navajo Chicken Salad, it arrived sans chicken. Hello? Shouldn't there... More

Blue Mesa has a great buffet Sunday morning. The choice satisfies those desiring breakfast or lunch. The choices are abundant and all delicious. The restaurant is open and airy with outdoor tables. I recommend Blue Mesa to all.

We have been going to the Blue Mesa in Addison for for probably 15+ years. We visited again in September when we were in Dallas for the Cowboys game. We found they were in a new location with a brand new building. We gave it a try. Two problems surfaced immediately. The first was poor service. It took a while... More

4 of us went here a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it. There was lots of variety, from waffles to fajitas. I didn't get any waffles since the line was always really long, but everything else I tried was very good. Restaurant has a nice feel to it as well, good use of colors. Cold use some more servers manning... More

My husband and I used to live in Dallas and eat here all the time, particularly on Sunday afternoons. Each time we return to Dallas we look forward to eating at Blue Mesa for their infamous Sunday brunch. This was our first time eating at this one and it was just different. We left feeling as if we'd paid significantly... More
