Great service, food, tequila

We were looking for a good happy hour where we could sit outside in the shade, and get some decent food too. Blue Mesa did the trick. We started with Skinny Margaritas at $9 each, and my friend also got the "First Class Flight" of 3 tequilas for $30 (you can also get Coach and Business... read more

We meant yo go to The Cheesecake Factory, but the wait was too long to get to the symphony on time, so we went to Blue Mesa. It was lovely. We enjoyed the guacamole made table side and the sweet potato chips brought to our table with the tortilla chips and salsa. My aunt ordered hot tea, and was given... More

I went here on a recommendation by a colleague and she knew I like GOOD FOOD. I was able to sit outside and get a breeze chopping on sweet potato chips and curb side guacamole. I ordered the Tri Costal plate, it had one oyster taco, crawfish adobe pie and ginger rice. The ginger rice was lacking ginger but it... More

We visited Blue Mesa for Saturday brunch and were hugely disappointed. Everything, and I mean everything, on the buffet was cold. I did not know it was possible to make chewy waffles. Tortilla chips were hard. My husband ordered sunny side up eggs from the chef and they were not completely cooked. Each chafing dish did not have its own... More

Just visited Dallas after moving away 5 years ago. Had to visit Blue Mesa. Excellent Mexican food in upscale atmosphere with wide variety tequila menu

We have been going to various Blue Mesa for Sunday brunch for as long as I can remember. Had not been to this location since they have moved from across the street. We called to make a reservation, and they don't take reservations but you can call ahead and be put on a list. When we got there, my husband... More

This was my first visit to blue Mesa and it won't be my last. I came for a networking event but did not expect the food to be so tasty. This is different from your standard tex-mex right down to the chips. I had the chicken street taco with smokey black beans, Ginger rice & Chimayo market corn. I did... More

Returned to Blue Mesa Grill recently for lunch with two friends. They had the wraps and I had the blue corn enchiladas. Everything was delicious and our waiter was very prompt and helpful.

Went with a family group for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Most people ordered the brunch which was okay, but not fabulous. Maybe because it was after 1:00, a lot of the selections were almost gone. Liked what was available. Drinks were good. Stylish location. Had been to the old location many times. Good waiter.

The fajitas are great for a meal and wash down well with one of their Blue Margaritas. This is also a good place for happy hour. Lively crowds on the weekends slow down the service but not the great tastes in just about every dish they serve. They could put a little more food on the plate but I guess... More
