It will turn your tongue blue

The fajitas are great for a meal and wash down well with one of their Blue Margaritas. This is also a good place for happy hour. Lively crowds on the weekends slow down the service but not the great tastes in just about every dish they serve. They could put a little more food on the plate but I... read more

Consistently great food and service. Unique bar drinks. Nice area for sports watching. Great menu with wonderful choices. One of our favorite places to dine.

6:45 Friday night; tables available in the main dining areas; bar area packed. This was our first visit to Blue Mesa. It took a little over 5 minutes for a waiter to initially arrive at the table, however, after that the service was attentive. We ordered the "blue" margaritas and guacamole (table side prepared). The margaritas were really very good... More

My first trip to the Blue Mesa Grill was for the New Year's brunch buffet. What a pleasant surprise we had! The service was prompt, courteous and attentive and the food was terrific. The range of items from the salsa bar to the design-your-own omelet station to the King Ranch chicken to the chilaquiles was at once startling and delightful.... More

There's a reason this place has been a staple in the North Dallas diet. While they call themselves Mexican, it's menu is very adventuresome. Their signature takes on Mexican flavors leave people coming back over and over. Sunday brunch is fantastic Afternoon happy hour is also great with free (tips only) fajitas. It is subdued and quiet allowing free conversation... More

A group of co workers went out to dinner at Blue Mesa for a dinner. We arrived at the restaurant before 7pm and were greeted with a complimentary tortilla chip, salsa and queso dip. The options for drinks were plentiful and I was pleased to see the Mexican beers that were on Draft. The meals that everyone ordered were delicious.... More

If you like tequila this is the place to try a lot of different kinds. They do a buffet that's pretty good at a reasonable price.

We came there and there was nothing. But the restaurant is nice, blue colors, a lot of glass. Recently we had a business meeting in Blue Mesa on Northwest Hgwy in Dallas, they have free meals from 5 pm to 7pm, they give free tacos as much as you want! You can buy a drink which is like 4 or... We went for a work dinner and had fantastic service - even with a large group! The food was amazing, the tableside guacamole was delicious and the drinks were delightful. I had the blue crab and shrimp enchiladas and would recommend them!

Looking for a lively spot for some unusual southwest dining, try the Blue Mesa. My wife and I went on a Friday night and arrived right after happy hour ended!! Everyone indeed seemed "happy" and the place was quite loud! The restaurant itself is architecturally very beautiful. The food was very good. I had the mixed grill churrascaritas which were... More
