I don't like raw fish. It's not the idea of the rawness - it's the taste. However, my husband and two kids both love it, so when my daughter comes home on leave from the military, we almost always go to a Japanese restaurant. This time it was Tokyo One. There's plenty to make a meal from without eating the... More

Each time I have been here it was very good. Service is excellent, everything is very clean, food is fresh. A tough thing for a buffet. Worth the trip if you are in Addison.

We ate at Tokyo One several years ago on a trip to Dallas and based on how good it was then, we looked forward to trying it again this trip. To put things in perspective, we stopped in for a Sunday lunch on Labor Day weekend. I ate mostly sushi and sashimi. My wife mostly ate other things on the... More

In the past several years this restaurant has consistently lowered the quality of its food and ingredients. it is a poor shadow of the high quality they once put forth

The selection and quality of the nigiri, rolls and sashimi at this restaurant is the best I have ever had at a buffet-style restaurant. The quality was even better than some sit-down and order places I have been to. I will definitely be back!

My family has been eating at this restaurant for years and we still love it. We have sushi/sashimi lovers and then there are those of us who just eat the wonderful Japanese food. All are satisfied when we eat here. The tempura is good, the hot dishes are good. My husband and oldest love the selection of sashimi that is... More

Every time we visit Dallas, we come here for a meal. The selection is plentiful and the food is usually good. It is difficult to taste all the dishes but the family enjoys our time here. The servers are extremely helpful and service oriented. One complaint is that the prices for their buffets and drinks are hardly displayed.

The wait satff is very good but the cost of the food and the quality left little to be desired. I dont mind paying $31.99 for dinner if the quality of the food is good. The sushi was dry and had very little taste and visually unappealing. I ate a couple pieces of sushi and some desert. The chocolate covered... More

I read some of the negative reviews about the price. Have these people been to a Sushi restaurant where you usually pay by the piece???? The lunch price here is less than $20. Although high for a regular lunch (not Sushi). Here is an 'all you can eat' buffet that includes sushi being made right in front of you, a... More

Tokyo One dishes are not run-of-the-mill buffet. You get things most restaurants do not serve, e.g., jellyfish, Chinese eggplant salad, baked kabocha squash, sashimi (not just sushi), pheasant eggs, ice cream in green tea, red beans and mango flavors. Its flan and creme brulee are especially to die for.
