"Cool place, good food and beer"

We visited this reataurant for the first time. They have outside seating a bar area and you seat yourself. It is also a dog friendly restaurant. Food was good, my husband ordered the Shepperds Pie and I ordered the Chicken Curry. They were both delicious. We all had beers, mine was a suggestions... read more

Arrived after 10 and still able to get fresh fish-n-chips (fries). Late-night menu also included cheese plates, burgers, chicken, etc. Significantly, wait staff was not annoyed by the fact I did not have a drink. Attractive, cozy setting with outdoor seating (comfortable at night) as well as indoor. Decor includes signs about the London Underground, Jack the Ripper, etc. Non-smoking... More

The pub is like the pubs in England the displays around the restaurant make you feel as though you walk though time. The brew is wonderful and the food is excellent. The folks are very friendly and fun sit indoors or out.

This trip I had the steak and Mushroom Pie with mashed potatoes. It was excellent. The mushrooms and steak were delicious and the gravy on the mashed potatoes was outstanding. They have a huge selection of international and local beers. The Newcastle Brown Ale is a favorite of mine and it went well with the pie. The seating was fast... More

Quick service at lunchtime on a weekday, very empty. The menu is certainly interesting. Smoky smell throughout the place. Restroom just a door off the bar area, not private at all. Not sure I'd return even though my club sandwich was fine.

Late night for drinks and appetizers with another couple. They frequent The Londoner as they occasionally smoke and this place still allows smoking. We are former smokers and thus the problem. It was not busy but a majority of the patrons were smoking. We put up with it for a couple rounds of drinks and appies but our clothes reeked... More

Good food - I had the reuban sandwich, my sister had the chicken sand. Good service. And a bar area you can go to after lunch and have a cigarette and a nice glass of wine for a reasonable price. What more can you ask for. We enjoyed. Went with no recommendations - were in town for the weekend and... More

Not strictly a Brit-pub menu but plenty of variety. I had the shepherds pie...good as any I've had. Others have already noted spotty service this was no different. Our server was pretty attentive until she left the bill...then she disappeared. I had to pay the bartender or else make sleeping arrangements with the manager... Appetizers and dinner also came too... More

Been several years since I had been to this location. Always enjoyed the patio, but now it is covered (mesh?) which seems to bottle in the heat a bit. A few seats remain uncovered. Got there Friday at 5, and it was never as crowded as it used to be. Don't understand that as the food is still good (cheese... More

Food here can be good but service is very undependable. If you sit on the patio you may have to go and find a server, more than once. This is a nice place to take your dog and sit on the patio. Service inside is much better though so if you want to eat and leave, go inside. Some menu... More
