Three of us went for a later dinner on a Saturday night. There was practically no one in the place. The waiter was very attentive and the service was good. The complementary bread was warm and soft. The meals we had were good. I had the chicken parm, which came with a small dish of spaghetti with a thick sauce... More

Me and my family were a little surprised when we sat down at Joes and realized that we were the ONLY people dining on a Friday night. We all ordered tea and they all smelled rather strongly like sewer. We told the waiter who seemed surprised, but gladly offered to get us different drinks. Our food was decent, but we... More

I frequent this place because they have Karaoke four nights a week and the regulars show up..... but when you get a bottle of beer, ask for a glass because the bottom of the beer cooler must have a half inch of black slime.... the bottom of the beer bottle is covered in black slime... so much that I had... Food and service are variable. Sometimes the lunch service is slow other days it is on time. The Italian Ribs are the best. Joe is frequently on site and this may affect the speed of service.Oft

The owner and sauce the worst... Tip learn customer service before opening a resturaunt.. Maybe then you will have more than 1 patron per hour.

Joe and his wife were very friendly & welcoming. The staff was helpful & polite. The food is fantastic! Everything is made fresh in house - the pasta, the sauce, the sausage- everything. Many of the menu items can be altered to suit your taste, which is great for a picky vegetarian like me. We ordered the veggie lasagna, the... More

Positives - very friendly atmosphere, karaoke is a bit corny but the guy running it was very friendly and chatty, bread was nice Negatives - dirty walls against our booth, dirty glasses, starters were awful - stuffed banana peppers were stuffed with disgusting dog food like meat, the antipasto salad was mostly lettuce, dressing was very vinegary and the artichokes... We were very happy with our experience at Joes. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Joe even came over and chatted with us for a bit. Everything in the restaurant is homemade, so we attempted to sample everything. Definately try the cannoli. The pizza was fantastic, great sauce and crust. The manacotti was the best I've had in a... Well it was supposed to be karaoke but it ended up being one guy whothen couldn't sing! But back to the food. Downright excellent. We sampled many of their appetizers and entrees and didn't find anything that wasn't superb. The corny music? Kind of reminded us of a little cafe in Verona! Great place. Try it!

Do not confuse this place with other places named Joe's in the Dallas area. This is a full-blown restaurant and bar, not a pizza/sandwich shop (though they do have crisp thin Italian-style pizza). Went with a friend on a Saturday night for some appetizers, wine, and conversation...and happily managed to work in all three. The service was very good and... More
