Was not impressed tonight. Salad bar was not stocked. Chicken and Rice soup had no chicken and no rice. Was eating my salad and a server asked me to move to another table so she could have my table for a big party. Finally got some rolls after switching tables. Notice guest having to get up and... read more

I actually was wanting to try this restaurant for several months, being new in town, and finally decided to take the family there for dinner. Biggest mistake ever. This place is awful. It is very dark inside, like an old Steak and Ale restaurant, and congested right after you get in. You have to look at a menu board then... More

The restaurant itself is a delightful English style building. The food, however, is traditional great American food. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the menu has enough choices to please just about anyone.

I had dinner with a group of people and each of their plates had tasty looking food. The salad bar was nice and the staff was friendly.

I stopped in to this restaurant as I was looking for a good steakhouse and this one reminds me of the old Steak and Ale chain. When you come in it's a bit confusing because of the antiquated menu board. After getting instructions, I got my tray and ordered. My meal came with salad bar and everything was crisp and... More

This restaurant has been around for a long time but still consistently puts out great food. The owner Dwight Ashton is very customer oriented and will usually come check to see if everything is ok. I had chopped steak which was cooked just right and my fiance had fried shrimp which also was excellent. The rolls were worth the trip.... More

This building is in deplorable condition; floor tiles missing, sink holes in the parking lot, dimly lit parking area. Anyone want to guess when the last time his place was scrubbed and cleaned? The food is not USA choice, but it is edible. Nice, well stocked and maintained soup and salad bar. If you are looking for basic food or... More

I'm sad to say I made my last trip to the Town Crier. This used to be a very nice place but it's in terrible shape and you can feel it when you walk in the door. Everything just feels sticky and greasy. The first impression you get here is the kitchen and staff. The cooks didn't look pleased to... More

Towne Crier has been around forever and, while still good, it's time for a little freshening up. It seems like nothing has changed in the 30 years or so since I first visited except the prices. The food is average or just slightly above, although the salad bar is very nice. The building and furnishings are very dated, but could... More
