Good lunch!

Always a good place to stop for a nice, informal meal. Good selection of food items with reasonable prices. I've eaten here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

Follow the cars to one of the finest eating places in Texas. A friendly atmosphere adds to the quality of the good food served here. It's no lie when the owner says the food is "YumYum."

This is a cowboy place with lots of pretend cowboys plus a very few real ones. The food (mostly steak type things) is good, but not inexpensive. Lots of pickup trucks in the parking lot tell you the clientele. During the summer the flies in the building are really bad. The staff people are nice.

Visited here twice while in town. Had the quail the first night- it was unbelievable. The wood fired grilling really brought out the flavor of the bird. The next night a group of ten of us got together for steaks..... I was NOT disappointed!! The Abilenian was a monster of a ribeye, perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection. Wish I would... More

Grilled pork chops were too thin and tough. Selection of side items very limited on some plates. Glad I didn't order a steak.

When youtell the waitstaff that you have never been to their establishment before you would think that they would go out of their way at least a little bit to help you decide on certain foods or recommend certain drinks or just be a little bit more understanding when you were just not quite ready to order, with kids a"course... The food and experience aren't what they once were, but this place is still one of the best restaurants in Abilene. Good food and a friendly staff keep people coming back for more.
