Good Stop

Very good service from Ashley who went through the signature dishes in great detail. In the end we choose the pasta. Very nice and not too spicy for our tastes. There's a good selection on offer and the meals are complimented by some craft beers and wine. Overall a relaxing meal downtown in Abilene.

As much as we have enjoyed the fine dining menu, we find ourselves heading straight to the casual dining in the bar area. Lots of tables, a bit more casual, the menu is wonderful. We are pizza fans and you can't go wrong with their brick oven pizza. The jalapeno's are amazingly hot! This is a restaurant where you don't... More

The service was awesome for lunch. We had such a sweet waitress. The wraps and steak special were both perfect, and fast. The pecan pie with ice cream and whipped cream was out of this world. Peach cobbler was excellent but could have used more spices and brown sugar. We are coming back for dinner to try the beers and... More

Great food and historic atmosphere in this hometown favorite. Located directly across from the Historic train station in Abilene within its picturesque historic district, the restaurant has a lot of history displayed on its walls. Food was excellent and beautifully prepared. We had the fish tacos lunch special and a club sandwich, which were artfully prepared and presented. Our service... More

It is like two different restaurants. The menus are totally different. The lunches are very creative and relatively inexpensive. The atmosphere is quieter than some restaurants. Most customers are adults. At night, the atmosphere is more romantic and there is live music some nights. The prices are expensive, the menu seems limited, and servings smaller. It is a great place... More

As our first visit, I can say I am very pleased to recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our server Nita, as in "need a" refill (her words, not mine), was fantastic. She was the right mix of honest, friendly, and upbeat. Her recommendations were spot on, I definitely recommend the calamari! Between the spacious yet cozy decor, the live piano,... More

This landmark location is perfect for dining in downtown Abilene. Great atmosphere in the dining area and menu! Can highly recommend the Quail Cazador, Pork Chop, and Catfish and Shrimp dishes ... all in all, a great option for Abilene.

Love the bar area of this restaurant, and the bar tender is always friendly and loves to talk about the beer. But the wait staff was a bit reserved and slow. My meal wasn't cheap, and the food okay. I had the reuben and my daughter had a pasta dish -- both average. Too expensive not to have a better... More

We stumbled upon this downtown restaurant when the one we had picked out was full with a 45 minute wait and no place to sit while we waited. It turned out to be a lucky find - we both had the "Southern Mix" platter, which was delicious. Good sized portions without being obscene. My husband also had a dinner salad,... More

When we sit in the dining area, service is usually great regardless of the amount if people in the restaurant. This visit we decided to sit in the bar area. We were the only ones there and the service was lackluster at best. The same bartender is always there. Maybe he was having a bad night. Other than that, the... More
